Hotel receptionist very helpful, service in the bar area not so.good selection to choose from at breakfast. Location not to far from the city centre by tram (number one & twelve) tickets available at reception desk.( 8.00 euros family ticket.) We booked a no smoking room, the sign on the door displayed NO SMOKING when we entered the room all the windows were open. We left our luggage and went for a evening meal in Dresden, we arrived back sometime later closed the windows, only to find that the previous inconsiderate guest had been smoking in the room. As non smokers this made the room uncomfortable,As it was late and we were booked in for one night only, we put up with the discomfort. On leaving we informed the receptionist.

If you are traveling by car, I suggest excellent stay in Dresdens Best Western hotel. Not only that the room we stayed at was big (such as 50 sqm, one separate room with door and living room), but the stuff gave really their best to meet our demands. We are family with 3 kids, our oldest had birthday on the day when we checked in. I asked for cake to wait for us as a surprise. And, when we entered, it was so nicely arranged and with the birthday Card, plates and flowers around... The price they charged for nice chocolate cake was below 10 euro... what to say...
Rooms are clean, nice, we had extra bed for 3rd kid, but it was comfortable as normal bed...
really nice stay. They have hotel garage, but there are lot of free parking spaces around the hotel, and the stuff will be glad to explain where to park. They gave us the tips about the walking and restaurants, very good stuff. We really enjoyed staying there!

Lovely hotel - very helpful staff, good location (if you don't mind catching the tram). We stayed in a room with a separate living area (coffee machine/TV/ipod dock/seating areas) which was very comfortable indeed. The hotel restaurant was so good we ended up going there both evenings of our stay (excellent food). All in all a good choice and we would highly recommend.

The staff make this hotel a great place to be. I misread the map and I thought this hotel was near the hauptbahnhof but I realized quickly that I was mistaken. It is a good 20-30 minutes by tram in order to get to the hotel. However the staff at the hotel was the best staff we discovered on our entire trip. I sat and talked to the front desk worker for about a half hour since it was a slow night in the middle of the week. He told me all the different places to go not only in Dresden but in Germany as a whole. I don't recommend this hotel because of its location but i still wouldn't mind staying there again since the staff made the hotel a great place to stay.

Slightly outside the city centre, but within walking distance to two supermarkets which is handy given that some of the rooms have a kitchenette, which makes it easy to do a little food shopping.

The rooms have a sitting area which is separate to the bedroom making the rooms more of a mini apartment rather than a conventional hotel room. Rooms are clean, spacious and offer all amenities (TV, kettle, etc.). Bathroom had no bath, but there was a spacious shower.

The restaurant/breakfast food was of a good standard and enjoyable.

All in all it was a fuss free, comfortable experience, with nothing to complain about.

I was pleasently surprised at the size of the room as I entered. Great value for money. Neat, clean, fantastic location. Very close to downtown Dresden and connect to the motorway in 10 mins drive. Very good breakfast spread. Quite spacious restaurant. Safe parking both outside and underground. Extremely friendly staff.

Room Tip: If you are a family choose ( I dont remember the title), ask for a room that also has a couch. This...

In Dresden on Business and this is where I ended up for a week and it had everything you hope for.Good, quiet rooms, a nice bar and a marvelous breakfast. The location, slightly outside the city core is actually a plus.
