We had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful with directions to local attractions. Although the hotel is not in the city center, this wasn't an issue because a tram stop is located about a 5 minute walk away. We were even able to purchase our tram tickets at the front desk. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance as well. If you have children, there is a nice playground. I've already recommended this hotel to a friend and would stay there again! If you are traveling by car, and have the time, take a trip to Seiffen.

Hotel is situated in a quiet side street away from the noise of the city centre, easy to reach by car. Tram (1 and 12) stop to centre 2 mins away on foot. About 15 min journey to Postplatz beside 'Zwinger'. Transport ticket available at reception. Room and bathroom immaculately clean, as is whole hotel- BW standard. Very good price for double room, comfort. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Well staffed hotel, they were helpful in providing us with a garage space for quite a cheap price. Good breakfast in continental style, however nothing regarding the food really stand out. The pub near the reception is quite cozy and provides just the right mood for a late night drink.

The hotel is located in quiet area and easy to reach by car. The parking is available in a garage below the hotel. On the other hand it's not in the city center.
There is really a good selection at breakfast, the bar offers 24h service.
I had an issue with a smell after smoking in my room despite no smoking sign, but the reception reacted promptly to my request and changed the room.
To a full rating I was missing here something like a gym, pool or sauna.

We've been traveling around Europe in July and have stayed in this hotel for one night in family room. The room was nice, comfortable, spacious enough. Also we enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel. Location of hotel is not so good because it is situated far from city centre. But the district is calm and it's pleasant. But there is one thing that made me very disappointed. My son 10 years old has left the gold chain with christ that was given to him by his godparents. And I'm sure that he has left it there because I remember this moment. At last he has forgotten it there. And the next day when we have discovered it I have demanded at hotel reception if they have founded it. But they have answered: "Nobody has seen the chain". I'm sad of this fact. So be attentive! Don't leave your things!

Hotel receptionist very helpful, service in the bar area not so.good selection to choose from at breakfast. Location not to far from the city centre by tram (number one & twelve) tickets available at reception desk.( 8.00 euros family ticket.) We booked a no smoking room, the sign on the door displayed NO SMOKING when we entered the room all the windows were open. We left our luggage and went for a evening meal in Dresden, we arrived back sometime later closed the windows, only to find that the previous inconsiderate guest had been smoking in the room. As non smokers this made the room uncomfortable,As it was late and we were booked in for one night only, we put up with the discomfort. On leaving we informed the receptionist.
