This hotel was very convenient to the railroad station in Magdeburg. My single room was small with only one chair and a tiny lamp by the bed. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. People were very friendly and helpful. Russian is the second language in this city, so I had to practice my German as people did not speak much English.

A large, comfortable room in a excellent location just between the railway and bus stations. Bathroom unexceptional. Breakfast buffet very good and coffee delicious.

BUT - €5.00 per day for WiFi? Seriously? It wasn't even a managed service; I basically paid €20 for the password for the router. Inexcusable, really, in this day and age.

A great location for short-stay visitors - right in front of you as you exit the main rail station at Adenauer Platz , or equally right in front of you if you arrive at the main bus station.
This is a strange kind of place , a kind of snack bar with some gaming machines, which seems to be locked shut most of the time. Finding the owner / one duty staff-member can be a challenge. It seems like they are in the process of re-inventing themselves as lodging, but have not really got there yet.
Payment is upfront in cash only and no fiscal receipt proffered. ( cash dispenser ATM right next to reception ). If you want breakfast, you have to advise the night before.
My room on the second floor was a standard single ( i.e. small , but still bigger than some rooms in fancier hotels.) It looked like it had been newly refurbished, and even though done to a basic standard, was still bright and pleasant, and very clean. The bathroom and shower also looked new, and worked very well.
At 49 euros, this hotel did not provide compareable levels of quality and comfort found in this price range on the rest of the trip. However, it was much cheaper than anything else found on the net for central Magdeburg on the night in question, and still provided an acceptable and convenient base for a short stay.

The hotel is located on one side of the railway station at the end of an underground passage which links it to the town center. The bus station where the airport shuttle also stops is just across the street which makes it a very good location. My room was basic and very clean. Very little noise due to the proximity of the station as the windows had double glazing. Breakfast is served in the ground-floor café which seems to double up as the bus drivers' HQ during the day and is very busy. The ladies at the reception were friendly.

We walked in off the street and stayed at this hotel in an emergency, it is very clean and well appointed. The lady we saw spoke limited english but was helpful and friendly.
49 euros for a single room, 32.50 euros per person for each person double room, parking was extra and was on the road, extra for pets.
Lovely sized room with a shower, very clean.
We didn't have breakfast as we had to rush off.
The hotel is next to the bus station, and was very noisy in the morning
