This property doesn't know what it wants to be, an apartment rental or a hotel. On one hand, there is no reception (and therefore, no help or assistance or even a telephone number to call if there is a problem, the exception being when the restaurant on the ground floor is open for lunch and dinner, even then the staff barely know what is going on with the apartments). So you are pretty much left on your own.

They require advance payment which makes sense, as I'm sure that many people such as myself would otherwise complain about the lack of internet (free wi-fi as advertised on their website never worked), or the fact that the kitchen and bedroom are poorly stocked, i.e. virtually nothing to actually cook with except for a pot and a frying pan (hardly any kitchen utensils, just a micro-wave for heating food), sheets that don't fit the bed and come undone overnight, and a whole host of little "niggly" details that at once show the proprietors have never tried sleeping in their apartments to see if they are user friendly, nor do they really have much of a clue how to properly set up apartment rentals. The furniture looks sleek and modern on the website but everything there has the veneer of cheaply made furniture of a quality below that of what one normally finds in a three star hotel.

Their policy of a 10 a.m. check out, requirement of the guests to do all the cleaning themselves (even upon departure), and a price list of the cost (and inevitable charge to your credit card) for broken items rounds out the unappetizing menu at 16:9 apartments.

In interest of full disclosure, I failed to read in the information sheet the fact that we had to leave the apartment at 10 a.m., when the cleaning lady knocked at 10:30 and rudely informed us we had to get out or we'd be charged an extra day, this after an unsatisfying stay of a week. When I wrote to the manager to express my dismay for this type of treatment, I received an appalling letter from the proprietor, J L Pablos, calling me a liar (for having mentioned to the staff that the internet did not work, despite my specifically asking before arrival to be sure that the connection was functioning), a lout, and an un-educated idiot who was wasting his time.

I find it incredible to believe that this individual works with the public to address anyone, much less a paying guest, in such a rude and insulting manner. His anger-filled letter made it very clear that in my (many) subsequent visits to Almeria I will not be patronising either his restaurant or his apartments, and I am encouraging all those who care about a minimum of professionalism and quality standards to look elsewhere as well.

Sr.Chano,siento que su estancia de una semana en nuestro establecimiento no haya sido de su agrado,le diré que la máxima de nuestro establecimiento es tratar de satisfacer al cliente siendo todo lo amables y educados que sabemos ser.
Si que sabemos también lo que queremos,no solamente lo sabemos,sino que lo escribimos,reflejamos y explicamos en nuestra web y viene calcado de nuestra web en los distintos operadores de reservas,en ningún momento le hemos vendido nuestro establecimiento como un hotel de tres estrellas,somos lo que somos,un apartamento turístico de una llave como viene indicado por activa y pasiva,la junta de Andalucia es muy estricta al respecto y no podríamos poner otra cosa que no fuera la que esta concedida en nuestra licencia(también viene el numero de registro de turismo)en las webs.
Hubiera sido mucho mas sencillo LEER,claro que no tenemos recepción,es precisamente de lo que nos enorgullece ,somos los primeros en España,pioneros en este sistema,pero claro también viene escrito y TAMPOCO lo ha leído usted.En cuanto a los utensilios de la cocina,esta mas que sobradamente equipada para una estancia de un mes,Tiene usted sartenes,cafetera,vasos,cubiertos,tazas,cazos,ollas,ensaladera,platos,microondas,etc. Tiene usted muebles de la casa Piferrer,no son de una calidad barata ni mucho menos , como habrá comprobado tenia exactamente los mismos muebles que aparecen en las fotografías de la web,y eso no lo hace un barniz.En cuanto al wifi,tenemos contratado lo máximo que nos otorga la compañía y es más,tenemos dos wifi con una clave para cada una.
Le mando al servicio técnico a petición suya en dos ocasiones,y tengo que decirle que los informes que tenemos son de , que estaba funcionando perfectamente,se lo comunicamos y se dio usted por satisfecho,no entiendo ahora nada respecto a esta critica.
En cuanto a la hora de salida,TAMPOCO lo ha leído usted claro,viene perfectamente especificado en nuestra web y hoja de bienvenida que la hora de salida en este apartamento turístico (Como en casi todos) es las diez de la mañana,mire Sr.Chano,podemos aceptar y tratar de mejorar todas las criticas ,las recibimos con objetividad,es parte de nuestra función,lo que no admitimos es que nos tache de mal educados o de patanes y trate de responsabilizarnos a nosotros su falta de lectura .En este caso,creemos que se ha quedado exclusivamente con el precio accesible pero también tenia que haber leído lo de la recepción virtual,lo de las diez .
En ningún momento le he escrito una carta en tono insultante,no se hacerlo,me he imitado a comunicarle que la wifi funcionaba perfectamente según el informe de los técnicos como le he mencionado anteriormente.
En cuanto a que las sabanas no se ajustan,bueno que le voy a decir,los modelos son los que son y las medidas son estándar para todos los establecimientos del mundo.
Le respondo como propietario del establecimiento para que vea que tenemos interés en atender y satisfacer,somos muy serviciales pero no serviles me alegro por usted que haya viajado tanto,quizás le ha faltado un poco mas en este tipo de establecimiento.
La única manera grosera que veo es la que esta demostrando con sus descalificaciones gratuitas,afortunadamente en este maravilloso portal,tenemos derecho a defendernos de este tipo de calificaciones y que pueda juzgar el internauta.
Siento que este usted “alentando” como usted mismo dice para que no vengan a nuestro establecimiento,pero de profesionalidad creo que andamos mas que sobrados por parte de nuestro equipo que esta formado y reciclando constantemente ,y por mi parte creo que de educación no puedo recibir por lo menos de su parte,ninguna lección.
