A fantastic experience. Probably one of the nicest hotels in Andalucia. Honourable mentions are the fabulous showers in the rooms, free minibar and floor to ceiling windows which overlook Cordoba from the comfort of your room. Dishonourable mentions are no free internet access, the price of restaurant/room service(average 15 Euro) and breakfast (an unbelievable 16 Euro). In the 21st century, a hotel should should lose a star if it refuses to provide guests with free high-speed internet accesss. For all of the beauty of the AC Cordoba Palacio, it gets a big thumbs down from us on this. For those who are curious, the hotel does provide a Wi-Fi connection which is part of Telefonica's nationwide pay-per use "Zona Wi-fi" network. The cost to connect is 12 Euros per day and the pre-paid PIN Cards can be picked up at the front desk and billed to the room. With his and hers shower heads and a full sized tub with jets, our room was a water paradise. One wonders whether the designer of this hotel used the importance of water to the history of islamic Cordoba as inspiration. The hotel's exterior is one its most curious features. It is made of a rusted metal that one looks through to view the city. The metal, we were told by a taxi driver, has seen better days, which is why Cordobans refer to the AC Palacio as "el viejo" or "the old one". But "el viejo" is anything but. Aside from the internet problem and some pricey food, this was one of the best experiences we have had in Spain.

We drove from Toledo and was lucky to find a parking spot for free. The hotel is situated in front of the Juderia in the old city, so I dont need the car. The hotel staff are cold. One even made the coment that tourists should learn Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish so had no trouble comunicating. The room is very nice and comfortable with nice rain showers, and whirlpool. Nice view from the window. Breakfast was expensive for what the offer. Better to eat out. The old city was nice and picturesque, but the food is overpriced and poor quality. I tried several places that suppose to be the best. The Spanish have long way to learn how to treat the tourists and make them feel welcome

This was our first stay at an AC hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. We were immediately greeted and helped into our room. The hotel is very modern and clean. The room was so high tech that our only trouble was figuring out how to operate the fancy double shower set. Another convenience was having a free mini bar, so we didn't have to worry about extra costs for the water and juices we drank. We will definitely consider this hotel again in the future. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

We went to this hotel as part of a trip around south Spain. Firstly the pictures of the exterior do not do the place justice, its fantastic, incredibly modern and commanding. The whole hotel was beatutiful. The rooms were great, the double rainforest showers are out of this world. Everything stood up to the very high expectations i had.

The pool on the top of the hotel was great also. Its not the biggest but it really didnt need to be. The staffs graps of English wasn't great but my Spanish isn't up to a great deal either so that is not a complaint.

Food wise, the meal in the hotel was good. Not exceptional but very good, better than your average fare. The best bit was a selection of olive oils that were from different regions and some bread to start, which allowed us to taste the differences. Breakfast was also good. Nothing out of the ordinary but good.

This hotel is a cracker if you like your hotels modern, clean and bang central.

Was here for 2 nights. Loved the location - rooms and amenities were nice. First room I got reeked of sewage and air-conditioning didn't work. The management was nice enough to move me to a room facing the street - it was a bit noisy but not intolerably so. The new room I got was alright but the bathroom occasionally still smelled - even though it was not as bad as the first room. There was no vent in any of the toilets I'd seen......maybe that's what is needed.
The breakfast buffet was nice but my scrambled eggs were so overcooked you could have bounced them off a wall.....avoid ordering scrambled - go for poached which was better. I thought that breakfast for 16 euros was a bit pricey.

The Hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were pleasant even though some could not speak any English. Parking is available but ridiculously expensive. Finding the entrance by car was a complete nightmare so I advise to account for at least 20mins of your travel time to just find it. even with a tomtom it was not visible.
The decor of the room is very modern and very clean. no complaints at all.
Location was good for visiting the area.

We were pleased with our room and with the hotel's general atmosphere, which is modern but not cold. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. However one of the reasons for booking this hotel was the swimming pool on the roof. Having used the pool twice during the first two days of my stay, along with plenty of other hotel guests, I was asked to leave the pool on the final day (30 April) because it was not officially open until later in the year. This hotel staff member told me it opened on 1 June. I checked the room directory, which stated 1 May. This is both confusing and stupid, as late April weather in southern Spain is certainly good enough to keep the pool open! Also, the website made no mention of this when I booked the room.
