My husband and I visited this lovely place in Cordoba in mid-February but had to cut our trip short due to illness and fly straight home. The owner was most accommodating of our unexpected change of plans, which we appreciated.
The "apartamentos" was perfect for 2 people; the heating units (1 in living room, 1 in bedroom) were efficient for the cool wet weather we had and we expect it to be just as efficient in hot weather!
The living area and kitchen were perfect for our short stay; it overlooked a stunning inner patio which we would have enjoyed had the weather not been so wet. The kitchen had all of the needed utensils for our stay; the bathroom was large and had a separate shower.
The bedroom was cozy; there was a huge armoire with plenty of hanging space but there was a lack of drawers, so I had to use our suitcases for the flat items.
The only thing that we would have liked was brighter light bulbs in both the living room and bedroom; it made it extremely hard to read after sundown...
Apart from that, the location was central if you like strolling around and as a lot of people wrote, not easy to get to by car but by taxi is OK if they drive in from the side of the street closest to the river.
The owners made our short stay very pleasant and it was a pity we had to leave so soon.
Do go and discover this gem, in an oasis...

My friends and I stayed several nights. Generally it was a good stay, but we discovered a broken toilet seat screw before we left. Rather than treat it as normal wear and tear, we were charged $55 to replace the toilet seat bolt. Left a bad impression with me, and I write this in hopes that future guests will not be charged for items which should be the hotel's responsibility.

This place was uber clean, the beds were very comfortable, our room had a kitchenette and a washer and looked out onto a stunningly beautiful patio. Jose Antonio and his dad were so kind, his dad brought some of his pickled olives & fino to us. Originally I was concerned that we were not staying in La Juderia, that concern was soon put to rest. This place is ten minutes walk from the Juderia and a block from Paseo de La Ribera (a River Promenade) where the best tapas in town are fed to throngs of hungry guests! The Paseo comes out at an old Roman Bridge at the foot if the Mezquita. So for location 5 out of 5 points, this was perfect!

The have an apartment on your holiday is the way I like to travel. This is one of the nicest I have stayed in! Touristic apartments can be expensive but are a great value when you share with travel mates!

The apartment were I have stayed was perfect for a little family. Let's say 3 persons. The site was very nice and very very clean and quite. The person who greeted us have been very nice, helpful and kind. her name is Virginia.
The hotel/apartment is situated in the historical centre not to close and even not to far from the nice amenities of Cordova, in a healthy nieghborhood.
I suggest the staying.

We had booked Embrujo de Azahar online without any problems. We knew very little about Cordoba but email exchanges with the hosts had been very helpful. We managed to catch a bus from the station to our accommodation without any problems. When we arrived the welcome from Jose his mother Virginia was wonderful. They patiently endured our limited Spanish and made us feel like special guests. The accommodation is tucked way in a narrow residential street. It is a traditional style building with its own leafy internal patio which seems to be typical of the city. The suite is comfortable, cosy and extremely clean with a nice outlook on to the patio. It is silent at night. We could walk along the wonderful maze of narrow streets into the nearby old Jewish quarter (La Juderia) which is fascinating to explore and some some very good dining options. Walking along the residential streets at night felt completely safe. A nearby shopping mall is very convenient although it looks most unattractive compared with the more traditional buildings of the city. The exquisite Mezquita, which is an unforgettable highlight of the city, is within convenient walking distance. I would highly recommend Embrujo de Azahar.

We have stayed in Apartamentos Turisticos Embrujo de Azahar during our two days trip to Cordoba, and it was like if we are a guests at close friend's home. We've received an kindness welcome and admirable, cozy, spotless clean, well-decorated apartment.
We've fallen in love with Andalusian patio. It was a real pleasure to live among the flowers and lemon trees, with birds and lovely dog Koko (hope, I write his name correctly) - but just in the city centre, in 10-minutes walk from the Mezquita. There was a deep silence at night, so we had a very good sleep. On the whole, we are absolutely happy with our choice. Furthermore, all "usual" hotels seems to be faceless, featureless after this beautiful home.
Our only regrets are that we had to leave so early, and that we couldn't express all our admiration and thanks to our hosts because our Spanish is not enough yet. And we undoubtedly would like to come back - at least for a week.

Señora Virginia, Koko, muchas gracias!
