The menu at the entrance seemed attractive but the food did not come up to our expectations.

Los patios is approached through a narrow, attractive little alleyway on c/Cardenal Herrero and opens out into a lofty, covered patio with a central fountain, flowers and wall mounted flower pots. It looked very attractive but service was slow an somewhat careless.

We ordered and waited and waited. The drinks eventually arrived and the food some time later. We are quite use to the longer waiting periods in Spanish restaurants but this was too long.

When it arrived, the portions were small and the potatoes obviously kept warm or re-heated. The meal was not served with any degree of presentation or pride and we noticed several other groups being treated similarly.

We visited this restaurant last Friday on our day trip to Cordoba. We ordered the classics (salomorejo, fried aubergines with honey and flamenquin). First two dishes were good but the flamenquin was quite bad so we left it!

Waiter was rude, uninterested and treated us like crap! Furthermore, I didn´t realised this until after we paid our bill, our receipt had x4 bread rolls detailed on it! - well there were two of us and we had ONE ROLL EACH so why did I end up paying 4euros for FOUR BREAD ROLLS when only 2 were consumed?

Anyways, bottom line, if you want a nice tapas meal in Cordoba, go somewhere else!

Dont expect a nice dinner here, no atmosphere. Had a pizza and salad wich was fine but still tasteless, the paella was just rice with chicken with a shrimp on top. The pork (were three slices) and chips were cold and unfried. Too expensive for what it was. Simple mindless and loveless food. My gf nearly cried. Hopefully the hotel service is a lot better.

Tip: Go to the restaurants around the corner. The hidden Marrocan teteria (teashop) was a lot better with nice service (English speeking) and relax with tea and a waterpipe. It is in the same alley where the good restaurant "La Flamenca" is (no. 2 at the moment on trip advisor) , or go to the tortilla shop "La Bodega Santos" good wine and lovely staff, not English speaking but they try.

We've stayed in Los Patios for 3 nights during Feria de Mayo; hotel room is small but pretty, the staff of the hotel is very friendly and polite. Central location, facing the Mezquita, lovely patio, quiet at breakfast time but very crowdy at lunch and dinner. Two times we had dinner there, very good and fresh salads. Ice cream is also good! As remark, the place is for non-smokers so we spent most of the evenings outside Los Patios.

I've just selected this restaurant as it is close to Cordoba Mosque and I wanted to eat something before visiting the Mosque.
The place is really beautiful and the staff very friendly but charging more than 18€ for an "andulisian menu" that consist in microwave an deep fried food is too much. It might be nice for taking a beer but I don't recommend it for lunch. Even the coffee is awful!
