“New Hotel - Great Location, but No Personality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 November 2010

Great location next to La Mezquita -- can't be beat! Easy walking distance to other sites in the old city center and an abundance of restuarants and shopping opportunities.

Hotel is new- opened in the summer, I think-- and still has the feel and smell of new construction. Rooms are small and nicely appointed with outstanding bath rooms - shower, jacuzzi, MB toiletries, marble, etc! Beds are comfortable with nice linens. TV in the room, as well as desk and chair.

Pool area was small but attractive. Open courtyards connecting rooms to main building, and some rooms with private courtyards/balconies. Potted plants were not well maintained-- end of the season. The fountains, however, were very nice.

Breakfast was included in the internet package for 138E and was served in the downstairs restaurant. Excellent selections and good service.

For a "hotel" atmosphere- nice. I prefer the B&B route for a smaller, more personal feeling. More "cookie- cutter" hotel feel, but friendly and helpful front desk and a nice room all the same.

We spent a week at Las Casas de la Juderia from 13th to 20/10/2010.
We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The series of interconnecting buildings with courtyard gardens and water features throughout are wonderful. The bedrooms are large and beautifully appointed. The bed was the biggest we had been in and was extremely comfortable. The staff are fantastic and the service impeccable. The restaurant divine.
We can't recommend highly enough.

This is a great hotel in a great location in a great town. We found it very hard to fault on any level. The hotel seems fully operational and includes a delightful pool. We booked on the net and had a breakfast inclusive deal. On arrival, we looked at the superior rooms thinking of an upgrade. I could not tell the difference, excepting private balconies, which are indeed lovely. We staid where we had booked/ Breakfast is a revelation - it is served in the hotel restaurant, and includes a full buffet of great variety and quality. But do order from the a la carte menu - it costs no extra and is a real surprise. Try the field mushrooms, or the omelette, or the bacon or anything. It is a fantastic treat, worth the stay by itself. A quiet haven in a busy part of a beautiful tourist mecca. Magical.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and one of the guys gave us a tour through the hotel explaining us the history of this palace and how it was renovated. We are very thankful for that! The palace is very very beautiful!
We got a very special room, nice and beautiful but a bit small for the paid price. The bathroom was big enough however the room was a bit tight especially when we had 2 big suitcases. The bed was very good, good quality mattress. The items in the mini bar were a bit overpriced and we were surprised that they wouldn't offer mineral water for free (I would expect it at a 5 star hotel). The telephone of the room didn't work so we were not able to use the room service. We gave notice at the reception but they didn't manage to solve the problem during our stay (on the other hand, the staff at the reception apologized for that).
The location couldn't be better: 2 minute walk to the Mezquita! We loved walking at the Juderia. However if we would go back to Cordoba I'm not sure that we would go back to this hotel. For this price range I'd like to try another one. There was nothing really wrong but just small details missing...

This sister hotel of the Sevilla Casas de la Juderia is rated 5 stars, but it's definitely not worth it as the Sevilla hotel is rated 4 stars. The rooms are beautifully decorated but they don't have double glass. As the hotel is located in the middle of the noisy Juderia-barrio it is impossible to have a quiet night. To us this was a great deception.
It has wonderful patio's and the swimming pool opened late June, but there are not enough facilities to sun around the swimming pool. As the plants and flowers are still very young the patio's don't have the same charm as the Sevilla ones.
The city of Cordoba itself was also a deception. While Sevilla has made itself in the middle of the 21st century without losing its charm, Cordoba is still very 20st century if you know what I mean.

I stayed at Las Casas De La Juderia for one night in July 2010 with a friend. We payed 155 Euros for a standard twin room, breakfast not included.

No doubt about it, this hotel is luxurious. It is a grand maze of white-washed buildings and a beautiful open-air floor plan. Our room was quite small (barely big enough to hold two twin beds) but the bathroom was enormous and terribly fancy with a jacuzzi bathtub, shower, separate toilet room, two sinks, and lots of high-end toiletries. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the Mosque, yet it is slightly separate from the main tourist throngs surrounding the immediate blocks of the Mosque which is nice. The hotel is also merely one half-block from the town's taxi stand, making hailing a cab to the train station very convenient.

After a long morning of sight-seeing, my friend and I returned to our hotel room exhausted. We were going to take a siesta, but spotted a gorgeous pool within the hotel and spent the afternoon pool-side instead. This was our favorite part of Las Casas De La Juderia, and a true highlight of our trip! The pool is immaculate, with fancy lounge chairs, big towels, and cheerful flower planters -- just a great place to relax and cool off under the hot Spain sun.

Las Casas De La Juderia was definitely a fun, luxurious hotel stay -- but was it really worth the money? I'm conflicted. I know there are cheaper options for hotels within Cordoba, so if you are on a budget, I would not recommend staying here. But, if money's not a problem or, like me, you have someone to split the bill with, go ahead and splurge with this fantastic hotel!

This hotel has a lot going for it: an excellent location in the old town, a few minutes from the incredibly beautiful cathedral and other historical buildings. The hotel is a maze of very attractive patio's and corridors. We arrived on a hot summer evening and were welcomed by an enthousiastic and very helpful young man behind the reception. He provided us with a map and several good tips concerning bars and restaurants. The room was very stylish and comfortable, but with a strange, unpleasant smell. Sadly, breakfast the next morning was a sad affair. An almost empty buffet, two aimless waiters and when we asked for some bread - a breakfast essential surely- we had to wait 10 minutes for a reheated ciabatta.
