“Great hotel in a great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014

Some friends and I stayed for 2 nights at the end of March and were very pleased we did. The hotel is tucked away off the alley so has a nice quiet location. The hotel was excellent value for money and our rooms were tastefully decorated, the beds very comfortable with modern bathrooms. You made need help to work the over complicated shower!
The rooms (104 and 202) were on the small side but came with a large cupboard/wardrobe where the cases could be stored. I understand that larger rooms were available for a higher price, but we chose small and cheap. Our rooms also had no view, just an outlook into a typical inner court but there was a great view from the roof top terrace.

The hotel was a couple of minutes away from the Mezquita and there is a good bar/restaurant practically opposite the entrance to the hotel on the corner.

The Hospederia del Atalia is a very clean, very nicely kept hotel in a very good location.

Room Tip: Rooms 104 and 202 were the same, just on different floors. Small, but perfectly formed!

The room is very nice and clean, room small yet not a problem, location very good in old city. We read here that staff is not a strong point, but thought it will not matter much - yet it sometimes does, in the negative way.
The worst - when receptionist didn’t know English so he preferred to tell me heating is not available, I assume he didn’t know to explain how it works. We went in Nov when nights are really cold, close to 0 degrees Celsius, so heating is really needed. Next evening my friend who speaks Spanish asked again, and heating is available… Staff not very helpful to direct us in the city either – we had to discover by ourselves where the new city center is (not very obvious from maps), also it took us some time to realize that in Cordoba everything closes at 12am, really nothing opened later. To mention that hotel charged me twice, they returned the money fast when I wrote, but I wouldn’t go back, there are a lot of other good options around it.

Very nice hotel, very cordova, tipical architecture, in the midle of cordova historic center, closeto la Judaria, and 3-4 blocks from the MEZQUITE.
We walk from the train station, aprox 15 min, nice walk, bring your GPS with you, stress are confusing.
Hotel is nice, we got a 2 rooms connected for my family of 4
Clean,big.
Front desk super friendly
We asked for a room with interior view, quite.
From the top of the hotel, there is a resting area with beautiful view of the MEZQUITE's tower, gorgeous at night.

Room Tip: GET A ROOM with interior view, more quite, it is loud in the stress, everything is so close!

Located in an alley 5-minute walk from the Mezquita, it has a very quiet and cozy atmosphere. Being right in the center, it does not have its own car park and you must leave your car in one of the city parks, however accessible through narrow streets (so beware...).
Reception staff very professional.
Room quite spacious, with a comfortable bed topped by a stylized arch (it is shown in one of the hotel's official images). Bathroom pretty small but with a whirlpool shower.
Room service efficient and fast. Wi-Fi connection fast and stable.
Breakfast served at the table; the food choice is quite limited.
Unfortunately, the incessant rain did not allow us to see the hotel's terrace, which they say is very beautiful.
I definitely recommend it for a stay in Cordoba.

Just returned back from Spain. This hotel is walking distance to the Mesquite. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated we also had a roof terrace attached to the room.

The hotel is delightful, right in the centre of the old Jewish area and close to the Mesquite. Rooms are pleasant and the staff are excellent. They have an underground carpark which is a little restricted and we had some problems getting our fairly large car out - the young receptionist took the wheel and got the car out with consumate ease - without a scratch - a great advert for us lady drivers!! The rooftop 'lounge' is lovely. An excellent hotel.

The staff went out of their way to help my wife, who fell ill on our journey to Cordoba. They provided food, refreshments, and helpful advice, which insured her speedy recovery. These are people who really care!
