Small family run hotel that was spotless during our stay. Great location for exploring the Mezquita and other sights in the old city. Lots of restaurants and shopping, just steps away. Located on a small quiet square, a little difficult to locate, but they have directional signs. Enjoyed our stay.

Hidden away in the centre of the old quarter on a small square is this excellent small hotel. Very friendly and so helpful.
A devil to drive to / exit the city as the very narrow streets are a maze and one way. This is a small price to pay for the ease of access on foot to the sights of Cordoba.
Good value, clean, quiet, just good accommodation in the city.
No catering but plenty of cafe / bars around. Just try to avoid the expensive tourist traps.

Room Tip: They have allocated on street parking at a nominal charge. Disabled access to the ground floor room...

Excellent location for exploring the old quarter. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Really super nice hosts. We got free water in our room which is a nice touch. Will definitely be my choice next time I am in Cordoba! Used their handy video to find it. Call ahead for parking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here in a quiet room facing the the back courtyard with a bit of a Mezquita view! We drove here and, like others mentioned, memorized their driving video so we arrived without a problem. They provide an equally convenient route out of the city on the reverse of the tourist map that they give you when suggesting sights, restaurants, etc. Brilliant! The family is lovely and obviously takes great pride in their hotel. We speak Spanish so had no communication problems but a son is usually close by who can help with other languages. We loved Codoba and this is the perfect location; so close to all of the major sights. For the chilly December mornings, it was easy to pop back in the hotel for extra scarves and gloves. There is a super mercado near by as well as the center plaza where there were interesting singing groups over the Christmas holidays. It was great fun to be amidst the locals during this festive time. Finally, the room and bed were very comfortable, the bathroom was super clean, and the built in wardrobe was a great place to store things. An excellent choice and great value!

Room Tip: Higher floor, not facing the street, for quiet nights

This hotel was about a 10 min walk from the Mezquita with many shops and restaurants along the way. The lady at the desk did not speak a lot of English but she managed to indicate many sights worth seeing on a city map. The hotel was simply furnished but very clean. There was a refrigerator in the room and good Wifi. Coffee and other drinks were available for a small fee in the lobby.

We decided to book the DP after reading the reviews on TA. It was a good decision. This family run hotel is in a good location, close to the bus/train station, the Mesquita, plaza de las tendillas, shops and restaurants, but in a quiet side street. I requested and was allocated room 4, a quiet room overlooking a small courtyard. The modest sized room was clean with very comfortable beds and pillows, a small silent fridge containing water and juice - replenished daily - an en suite shower room with SOFT towels and low level central heating, needed on chilly January evenings and mornings. The family were charming, friendly and helpful. I would recommend the DP without question.

This is a small, family-run hotel in an old-world style. Everything is spotless.simple, and straight-forward. There is no useless extravagance -- it has almost an ascetic feel to it. The beds are firm (which I like), the bathrooms are modern with plenty of hot water, and the wi-fi connection was the best we found in Spain. (It seems that there are separate routers on each floor.) The location is also great -- in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. 15-minute walk from the train station. The hosts were very helpful.
If you need a hotel room that is "cushy," this is probably not for you. However, if you want a hotel room that is convenient, clean, and excellent value, I highly recommend the Don Paula.

Room Tip: Not sure there is a bad room here -- the hotel is on a quiet little square without much traffic.
