“Excellent location, comfortable, great value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The location was ideal, in the heart of Cordoba's historic district. Everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. The building itself is relatively new, but blends in well with neighboring historic structures. ( Ask the family to show you their power point of the gorgeous Roman mosaics uncovered during construction, unfortuneately now warehoused by the government.) This started as a family home then was converted to a lovely hotel. The feel is modern, sparsely furnished with a few choice antique pieces and elegant white marble floors. The rooms were light and airy and very clean. The bathroom was also very nice and included a bidet. The owners were helpful in recommending an inexpensive nearby restaurant (satisfying my craving for spinach salad in this land of bread, cheese and pork). The only "con" I can think of is that this would not be the place to stay if one was relying on a car for transportation. The streets are too narrow and labyrinthian, and parking is limited.

A modern, tastefully decorated room, airy, with a balcony that overlooks the winding street, right in the centre of the historic district. A pleasant room to be in when taking a break from all the walking one does in Cordoba. Very accommodating staff; did some laundry for us, but didn't charge since it was "only a little." Our previous hotel had been downright ugly, so this was a huge relief. Although modernized, the flavor of Cordoba comes through and we considered this excellent value.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room -

Friendly but basic hotel, right in the middle of the historic district, all the things you are likely to want to see within a few minutes walk. If using a car, their directions are good, but make the slightest mistake, and it becomes a maze, once at the hotel they will park your car, at a low cost for where you are. While there is no breakfast, but they will direct you to a great little cafe just 2 minutes away, and give you some good tips for other meals.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel in Cordoba, the personnel was friendly and very helpful, they made us feel at home right away.

The bathroom and the room were nicely decorated especially for the price that the rooms are offered for.

The hotel is around the corner for most of the interesting sights in Cordoba and just seconds away from the Mezquita, definetely a place I would recommend to family and friends.

I can only agree with all the positive comments made about this hotel. The location, the room and the parking for our car were all first class. The family who run the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Cordoba is a wonderful city and we wished we could have stayed an extra day.

Stayed here based on reviews, and it lived up to expectations. It could be difficult to find but they provide a link to a five minute you tube video of the drive in which worked great. Wish other hotels adopted this idea! Do not use your GPS!
Booking was easily done, and the rooms were very clean and adequately furnished. Rooms were quiet. A fridge with water and juice was an unexpected bonus.
It was well located, close to sights and restaurants. Parking can be arranged. It's not a five star hotel, so I can't give it five stars, but I would definitely return here, and recommend it.
