Near the synagogue you might feel like having to eat something from the jewish cultural root, and this place fits the bill perfectly.

Quality of food is fine, it is precented well, service is friendly and professional. and the price is right - i recommend.

Visited this restaurant for the first time during my last visit to Cordoba, it was so delicious that we decided to return the next night! The food was fresh and delicious. I literally cried over my desert, fresh dates with ginger ice cream. There cous cous is also delicious as well as their lamb dishes!

Had a lovely evening here at a table in the courtyard. Friendly waiter recommended tasty dishes. Great for veggies. Recommended for tourists needing a change from the usual tapas.

Casa Mazal has an excellent menu of traditional Sephardic cuisine. My wife and I tried a variety of food and almost everything we ordered was perfect, the one exception was the violet sorbet that came with the desert plate.

The food was very mediterranean and I was surprised at the spiciness in some of the dishes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who will be traveling to Cordoba. My wife is allergic to gluten and a vegetarian and her food was amazing. We shared the hummus as an appetizer, she had one of the eggplant dishes and I had the Arroz Picante con Pollo.

We had the desert assortments and all were amazing (except for the previously mentioned violet sorbet).

The service was slow, but we were there early for the lunch period and they were just getting set up.

The courtyard is a relaxing and peaceful place to dine and make sure you check out the Roman well.

It was a good marketing idea - open a Jewish themed restaurant in the city where no Jews have lived for 500 years. In this sense the restaurant is unique.
Anyway, if you are looking for good food, it is a good place to have a break from wandering the old Cordoba.
Make sure to visit the nearby Casa de Sefarad - a small private museum of Jewish life and Maimonides.
On some evenings, Casa de Sefarad offers flamenco shows - highly recommended. Preorder your tickets because usually the show is a sold out for days in advance.
