“Excellent and good value food and wine”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

We enjoyed well-priced hearty Spanish cuisine at this restaurant which was very popular with locals. The food was excellent - we went there for dinner twice and tried the grilled calamari, rabo de toro and Parillada Iberica (Iberian mixed grill for 2 - but could feed 3). Their Pedro Ximenez is fantastic!

“Local food, great price”
Reviewed 28 October 2013

The host of B&B recommend this restaurant for us. It is easy to find and the food is local Cordoba, maybe we were not used to the taste of sauce, but the food like sausage is good!

“great wine, good food, good price!”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

We came across this place by chance, it was showing the football and we decided to go in. The wine was really good and cheap compared to other parts of the city, and the food completely exceeded our expectations. Hearty Spanish cuisine at a reasonable price. It got quite packed at about 10 o clock and there was a great buzz. Have been there for lunch since and both the service and the food was as good as the first time.

“The best option for a cheap but satisfactory dive in the andalusian cuisine”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

I spent one year of my life in Cordoba and I can say with no doubt at all that El Moriles was the best place to have dinner or to simply hang out with friends. One of the best salmorejos in town, with a side of fried eggplants to dip in and a spicy "rabo the toro" that melts down in your mouth were my favourite dishes but during my staying in Corboba I can say i've tried almost everything the Moriles offers... Everything was divine... I suggest you to choose everything "media racion" and try as many dishes as you can... It doesn't seems media racion at all! The price is ridicously small for the quality you get.

“THE place locals go for good Cordobes food”
Reviewed 2 July 2013 via mobile

As someone who studied abroad for half a year in Cordoba, I quickly learned that Bar Moriles (and pata negra, they're next to each other and share the same kitchen) is THE bar in Cordoba for food for the locals. It was in fact the first place I was brought by my Spanish friends. Come here if you want to try local Cordoba dishes like salmorejo, berenjenas con miel (lightly fried eggplant with honey), flamenquin, setas (mushrooms), and ensaladilla. Prices are really pretty good, and it's a nice way to visit the Ciudad Jardin neighborhood of Cordoba.
