“A perfect choice in Cordoba”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

There is short term parking right in front to self unload your luggage. We then found free parking on the next block on the main street. The check-in and check-out went very smoothly. Our room was 143 and had an interior courtyard view, although it was very small. It was still a pleasant view compared to other options. The room is extremely clean; the structure, furniture, linens and floor are all in very good condition. The bathroom is well lit, supplied with many additional toiletries and has ample room for 2 persons, if necessary. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the linens are very soft. There is a sitting chair, end table, dresser and good sized closet. This is located across the river from the cathedral so you only have a few minutes walk across the bridge into the city. I would recommend Cordoba for a day trip but if you stay over night, I would highly recommend this hotel.

On the banks of the river, with lovely views of the Roman bridge & the Mezquita, only a 7 minute stroll across the river into the old city centre. We stay here every year (some 15 times so far) & once again were given a lovely, large room on the 3rd floor, having parked the car in the almost empty underground garage. There was a large bathroom, with very good toiletries. By booking breakfast when we checked in the price was 11 € instead of 14 € & there was a very good selection of dishes - more than we could do justice to. Unfortunately, the cafeteria, with the simpler "Continental" breakfast, preferred by us, now has a delayed opening until 10.30, too late for us.

Room Tip: Do not settle for the cheaper rooms in the old annexe! Noisy & bright street lights. Choose as h...

We had three nights here. Enjoyed every one of them. It's a clean, efficient well run hotel which is nicely located directly across the river from the old town of Cordoba. We had a terrific time here. It is very reasonably priced. The rooms are a good size and nicely appointed. We would be very happy to stay here again and highly recommend it.

This hotel – part of the NH chain – offered a room which was cool (airconditioning in perfect functioning!) spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Don’t get your hopes up in terms of view, though : very few rooms out of the total have this, so unless you upgrade or get lucky, you’re unlikely to have it. Our’s faced a boring gap between wings of the building. The roof terrace is a wonderful addition, where we spent a cool-off evening looking as the sun set on Cordoba and the old Roman Bridge and the little bats flitted about us in the twilight. It could be made much more of : but in a sense, I’m glad it isn’t, and one can get an ice cold beer in peace (at least at the time of year we were there – end of May.) All in all, although it’s not the most characterful place to stay, it provides a great wind-down/cool-off base after a hot and sunny exploration of beautiful Cordoba.

One thing - don't eat there. We did one evening on the roof terrace, and the food is stodgy and quite tasteless. Have a cold beer instead.

The hotel is located across the river, just opposite the Alcazar gardens, you can get to the Cathedral by crossing the Roman bridge, 5 minutes walking. The room was very spacious and clean. There is a nice bar on the roof overlooking the old city, and a pool. There is an undergound parking which you have to pay for, but still it is very convenient.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the old city has the best view, but it is more expensive

First of all its easy to find so no endless map readings or sat nav around the cobbled streets of beautiful Cordoba. We upgraded our room so got a larger bed with a knock out view across the river.
Plan in a little time at the rooftop bar, friendly professional service.

Would come here again.

We spent 5 relaxing nights at this hotel. From our room, we had a full view of the old part of town. By walking across the nearby bridge, you're right in the middle of everything. There is a rooftop bar and an outdoor pool. We really enjoyed our stay here.
