We had a lovely stay there, and it was amazing how quiet the hotel was so close to the Mesquita. Honestly, if we went back, we'd want to be a bit farther away, but that's a personal choice. The room was lovely, the "balcon" offered an amazing view of the city - just charming. The staff was very nice but a bit awkward. When we arrived, we had to drag our own luggage up the lane to the hotel (but they did give us a very welcome welcome beer), and when we checked out, we had to wait about 45 minutes until the staff person arrived who could fetch our car. One morning the breakfast was good, the next basically inedible, and we ordered the same thing! It IS lovely and a great choice if you want to be in the heart of things.

This hotel has only 10 rooms. It is a few steps from La Mezquita. It has a terrace with amazing views. The staff is very friendly and warm. Loved it!! Would definitely come back. Cordoba is such a beautiful city.

Finding the hotel by car was a challenge, but the staff walked out to meet us by the parking garage. After we arrived everything was perfect. It was our favorite room we had during our trip. Sitting on the roof-top watching the sunset was beautiful.

Convenient to Mesquita and Alcazar. Night-time view of Mesquita from the roof-top bar is incredible. Service from front-desk was excellent, especially with dining recommendations. If driving, do not trust GPS directions. Use the hotel's directions instead.

Other than having a small problem finding the location, this was an excellent experience. The staff, Beatrice in particular, was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The room was well laid out and the only fault we could find, was the rather strange layout of the bathroom that featured a sink mounted on a pedestal in the middle of the room. No counter, no mirror, just the bowl. It made shaving akward and offered no space for supplies. We dined at on the rooftop and they made a special effort to seat us, which was greatly appreciated. The view from the roof deck is great. The location is superb as it is just down the street from the mezquita/cathedral. Cordoba is an interesting city and we should have spent more time there instead of going to Granada, which was a major disappointment.

If we could have dreamed up the perfect place to stay in Cordoba it would have looked exactly like the Balcon de Cordoba. It is located only a stone's throw away from the mezquita, which you can admire also from the roof terrasse. As the hotel only has 10 or so rooms you feel this is all your own private privileged pleasure. The hotel is a remodeled convent from 14th century, very tastefully decorated and furnished in pleasing earth colors by a talented interior designer who did not have to work against a tight budget it seems. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a choice of patios to relax, also beautifully decorated, which won the hotel a prize in the yearly Cordoba patio competition. The hotel staff is nice and service-oriented. Only the restaurant does not yet live up to the standard of the hotel, something that is being worked on according to the hotel manager.

I have adored this place from the first glance. My room was ready strictly on time I indicated in my reservation account. The staff called me by name and knew me in face just from the photo. I have been surrounded with warmth, hospitability, tempered in every scratch of my requests or desires. Right near the Cathedral, I could enjoy the original spirit of the old Andalusian house, amazing view and my own terrace with Bali bed! Why you need a room, you can spend the whole night under the star-spattered sky, breathing deeply and feeling the city with all your heart. I can view calle de Flores from room, breathed in aroma of flowers and listened to the Spanish guitar. Enjoy the house wine and amazing cuisine! Always stay here! Do not even try another search!

You can not but fall in love with this hotel! Impecular!!!!!
