We had a lovely stay there, and it was amazing how quiet the hotel was so close to the Mesquita. Honestly, if we went back, we'd want to be a bit farther away, but that's a personal choice. The room was lovely, the "balcon" offered an amazing view of the city - just charming. The staff was very nice but a bit awkward. When we arrived, we had to drag our own luggage up the lane to the hotel (but they did give us a very welcome welcome beer), and when we checked out, we had to wait about 45 minutes until the staff person arrived who could fetch our car. One morning the breakfast was good, the next basically inedible, and we ordered the same thing! It IS lovely and a great choice if you want to be in the heart of things.
