This is a charming hotel, in an historic building that has been beautifully renovated. Staff were attentive, and willing to help with all sorts of things, including flight reservations and mailing home of a large purchase.

Highly recommended!

My only regret of our trip is that it would have been nice to spend more time in the hotel; I feel we didn't explore all that there was to offer. However, the staff were amazing, the food was wonderful and the next time we go to Cordoba, we will definitely be staying here! We were in Cordoba for the International Film Music Festival and relied a lot on the staff to help us find venues and help us obtain concert tickets. We would not have had such a good time without their help. Personally I would not want to try to drive to the hotel; we even asked them to arrange for us to be picked up from the train station; however the information that they provided to us in terms of how to get to the hotel by any medium was excellent and I had super quick responses to emails that I sent as well.

Room Tip: We had room 3 on the ground floor which was nice and quiet. If you're intending on keeping Spani...

What a restful oasis this is! Raoul, who welcomed us, could not have been sweeter, helping advise us on our evening activities and making us comfortable upon arrival. His colleagues were equally kind. The interior room was small but impeccable and luxurious and there were many kind touches that deserve mention: a light snack of fruit and a sweet set out for us when we came in, slippers by the bed at night, and a sumptuous bedtime snack of fruit and chocolate. The bed was excellent and the shower gorgeous. We found plenty of storage in a handsome wardrobe. We didn't even need air conditioning thanks to the cool, thick 15th century walls. (The building was once a convent.) This hotel is located on a very narrow street; we took a cab to the corner of the plaza and walked the short distance with our luggage without difficulty as the streets are too narrow for all but the tiniest cars. Breakfast (included) was delicious and of the highest quality. There is a reason this hotel is so beloved by the TripAdvisor community.

My wife and I booked the junior suite at the Balcon and we were certainly not dissapointed! In most hotels these days, a junior suite is simply a larger room with a sitting area - not here. We entred into a sitting area with a fitted desk and windows that almost fill one wall and overlook the main patio. The mini bar is located here. Adjacent to this is a TV area with a comfortable sofa and coffee table.

Down a corridor, passing the bathroom, is the bedroom, which has shutters that keep the room dark for a good night's sleep. This room has a dual aspect - one into the same patio and the other on to the main street (which is really quiet - so don't worry). The bedroom has a large, roll top bath inside. This is a wonderful feature, but it leads to the quirkness of the large bathroom - which contains the wardrobes! This all worked fine for us and added to the experience.

On arriving in Cordoba we found that the satnav just does not guide one to the hotel. Also, we later discovered that emails from the hotel, explaining how to get there, had ended up in the spam box. This it was that we were lost. We called the hotel and they sent out a young man to locate us and guide us to the covered garage a few minutes from the hotel. He then helped us with our luggage.

Check in was efficient and then we were shown around the "house" by a member of staff and then to our room. All-in-all a wonderful arrival.

That evening we are in the three table, balcony restuarant. The view from the balcony is amazing - the Mezquite is about 50 metres away and it and the far hills and city are all on show. A young Cordoban couple told us that they had just discovered the balcony and that it had to be the best view in Cordoba. The meal matched the view - excellent food and excellent and friendly service. In addition, we had an excellent cocktail.

An important feature to us is the quality of air conditioning - it was really good, with separate units in the living and bedrooms.

We stayed four days and found all of the staff to be interested in their guests and determined to give them the best experience possible. On check-out, the hotel arranged for the car to be driven close to the hotel and then loaded it up for us.

This is an exceptional hotel, run by people who love their special house and show exceptional care and consideration to their guests.

Wonderful hospitality, charming, good location, nice people, perfect rooms. Don't dare to drive your car in front of the entrance of the hotel. The road is way to narrow! We did that and had a challenging experience, but we managed.

Room Tip: I think all rooms are good!

This is a fantastic boutique hotel only a one minute walk from the Mostique. The staff are all really helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful room with a private terrace and fantastic sun bed. This is definitely the place to stay if your visiting stunning Cordoba.

While staying in Spain we made the trip to cordoba to take in some culture. This hotel bills itself as boutique, and to many respects lives up to this.

The rooms pleasant and well appointed, the staff are wonderfully helpful and the terrace a lovely place for a bite to eat and a cocktail in the cool evening winds which appears to be the jewel in this hotels crown. A small yet tasty looking menu (we had dinner out but had the sight and smells of the food) and a compact cocktail menu all of which we tasted were very nice and quite generous.

The views high over cordoba with the main attractions a stones throw make for some lovely photos too

Highly recommended should you want to spend a night or two in Cordoba with a loved one or a family with teenagers.
