The Hotel is situated right opposite the Mezquita and within easy access to all that this beutiful cith has to offer. Private parking was a real bonus as we had driven up from the Costas. Breakfast was comprehensive enough and all tastes seemd to be catered for. Lovely courtyard garden where it's a pleasure to spend some time reflecting on all you have seen. Room was all we needed for our two night stay, we found it to be spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant served a good meal and wine and staff were polite, courteous and very helpful. The Hotel is only a short walk from restaurants, shops and bars, enjoy walking through the winding streets and finding unique experiences in the Old Jewish Quarter.

Room Tip: Our room (108) had blackout curtains and a little step out balcony but was above the main door, ther...

They claim to be a luxury hotel however we experienced no luxury. Small room without arm chairs, broken minibar, broken hairdryer, lousy beds.

When informing them of the broken things they just shook their shoulders.

When we came back to the hotel at 11 pm. we wanted to have a glass of wine but everything was closed, not even the reception would help.

They have a small garden with a fountain and a turtle. The turtle got kicked around because people could,t see it in the darkness. I put it back into the fountain, but this is animal cruelty!

Room Tip: Rack rate is 499 euro which is schocking... We paid 79,-

Excellent situation at side of mezquita providing you can organize transport for luggage and have no problems walking as vehicles are restricted in this area. Taxis appear to be plentiful.
Thank you to previous reviewers who gave wArnings about the hardness of the beds. We brought therm arrests and were able to make ourselves comfortable. :-)

Comfortable room, maybe the best hard bed I've ever had in a hotel, AC doing its stuff which was needed given the 30 degrees outside. Breakfast was fine but we could have done with a better fruit selection and hotels like this should offer better coffee and those glazed croissants in Spain are a real pain to eat. Location is ideal with a choice of decent restaurants within 10 minutes and it's right next to the Mezquite and close to the river. All round pretty good

I wanted a hotel in the centre of Cordoba so I could visit the Mezquita, the Alcazar and also wander the Juderia during the evening. This hotel is next door to the Mezquita and has underground parking included in the price. Access is via a restricted road and the directions were very clear when booking. Only criticism is that the beds were hard, something of a consistent problem in Spanish hotels. On the other hand the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - especially on reception. I have re-booked for another trip in July.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the Mezquita.

We found the Hotel Conquistador to be a great place to stay. It is perfectly located and the staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is very busy and caters to Spanish as well as foreign visitors. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We only stayed for one night but would have been happy to have stayed longer.

Our room was a twin and for 2 beds quite small but very clean and well furnished. Bathroom well equiped and very nice. Our window overlooked the inner courtyard which is very pretty and as there was a wedding reception taking place that evening I was worried about the noise but it finished at 11pm and was then quiet enough for a good nights sleep.

Breakfast buffet for 9 euros was well worth the price. Located right in the heart of the historic centre (across from the Mezquita) it made visiting the sights very easy and plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from.
I would stay again.
