“Horrible horrible disgusting”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2014 via mobile

I used my credit card points to book this hotel. The card used about $200 worth of my points and I assumed it would be at least a 3-4 star hotel. Although the lobby is nice and the staff was very friendly (and of course the location), the room itself was absolutely disgusting. I feel like I'm in a government hospital of a third world country. The pictures are deceiving. Please do NOT waste your money on this hotel. No carpet either. AC barely works. I'm glad I'm we're only here for one night.

And also general advice for this area, do not drive here. It's almost impossible getting through these streets.

Could not be any closer to the main attraction: the Mosque. Rooms clean and parking is offered for a price. Walking distance to all other attractions in Cordoba. Lots of restaurants nearby. It also offers a restaurant and coffee room. Rooms clean and quiet. Staff very helpful.

Room Tip: The Mosque lets you in free before 9:30 AM.

As others have mentioned, the location of this hotel cannot be beat---literally a stone's throw away from the Mezquita and just a few minutes stroll to other locations (the roman bridge, the alcazar, restaurants, Cajella de las flores, etc.). We selected this hotel on a whim after making a last minute detour to Cordoba, and we could not have been more pleased with our choice to stay here (especially for the price!). The lobby is beautiful and the room was very nice---great bathroom, plenty of space, clean, but the typical old-school Spanish beds. The staff was very friendly, and I really appreciated that the hotel doors are open at all times (and a desk clerk is on duty all night), so going out to take pictures at all hours of the day was very easy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We travelled to Cordoba as a group and stayed one night at the Maimonides. As we came on a coach a van was sent down to the coach for our luggage, which saved us from having to drag our suitcases up the hill.
The rooms were comfortable, although the bed was extremely firm. The restaurant is a la carte, but we were served a dinner, which was well cooked and delicious, however, the portions were very generous. Breakfast was mainly a cold buffet.
The hotel is very conveniently situated in the centre of the old town, which is the main tourist attraction.
Overall a good hotel for a short stay.

We stayed overnight at this hotel while on a 2-week trip through Spain. We selected this hotel based on its proximity to the Mezquita. It is directly across the street (and just around the corner from the main entrance gate.) Hotel staff was generally friendly, but largely uninformed in giving guidance about area attractions. The room itself was small, but adequate. For us, the biggest downside to this hotel was the noise. The halls and rooms are covered with marble flooring and the walls and doors are very thin. As a result, you hear everything going on in the hallways, in the rooms to the side and above....all night long. The room was clean, but otherwise, its best redeeming feature is its location.

This hotel is located right opposite the cordoba mezquita, the most important attraction for tourists in cordoba. Everything you want to see is a walking distancce, the mosque/cathedral, roman bridge, musuem. There was also a big shopping mall that we found but at a 20 min walk away.
We stayed here for 2 nights and were pleased with the service provided. The rooms were really clean, were nice and brightly decorated. Although the room sizes were'nt really big, this did not bother us as we were out most of day day and would return back to rest in the afternoons and night. There was free wifi provided aswell . Staff was very polite and helped us at all times.
One thing worth mentioning is, in the evenings this area tends to be dead and quiet as all the tourists have left. All shops are closed by then, so if you like hustle and bustle, your better off somewhere in the inner city. But for location purposes, this hotel is excellent! Worth your money.

Hotel Eurostars Maimonides is located in the center of old Cordoba city. The building is well maintained and the rooms are very nice, though not big. The hotel has a restaurant on the first floor and good deals on combo meals. The holet has a Wi-Fi, but you need to enter code every time you connect. We had a great experience overall. Thanks.
