This is a very modern hotel with a minimalist courtyard. The staff were friendly and helpful. It has secure parking and is close to the river. A 15 minute walk takes you to the centre of things. There are 2 ground floor rooms off the courtyard. Mine was huge about 25 by 10 and had twin comfortable beds. The shower and toilet are separated from the main area by floor to ceiling glass walls with sliding doors. Maybe not quite as private as some would like. Breakfast was good value and more than adequate. Wi-fi was free and worked well. All in all perhaps not for the traditionalist but a good hotel at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 & 2 are ground floor and face onto the courtyard. The screen between the rooms and courtyard is glass and not entirely soundproof but the payback is a truly large room. If you like a bit more privacy choose a first floor room which cost less.

Dear Edmund,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us in TripAdvisor.
Just the two rooms on the courtyard have their bathrooms integrated in the bedroom; the other rooms have more privacy.
We hope you come back, it would be fantastic to have you back in the future.

Kind regards,

Gerardo Holgado

We loved #204, large rectangle bedroom, comfortable king bed, chair, sofa, and 4 windows over the courtyard. Light and airy. Beautiful wooden floors and recessed lighting + bedside lamps. Very generous closet space and shelves in the bedroom and bathroom. Very modern bathroom with a variety of complimentary toiletries and powerful shower. Wonderful jacuzzi to relax our backs and feet after a day of walking around Cordoba. Our friends enjoyed being in #207 a square room with high ceiling and window overlooking the street. Very quiet area because on pedestrian street. Lovely generous breakfast for only 7 euros includes coffee, tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, melon purée, cherries, apple bread, warm rolls, buttery croissants, homemade tomato purée, marmalade, blueberry jam; cheese, and chopped ham bits; and yogurt. Gerardo and the two Carmens were friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Many places to eat within 5-10 minutes walk and sights within 15 minutes. Secure parking nearby @ 13 euros/day plus tax.

Room Tip: First floor # 204 or 207 with windows opening to street or courtyard

Excellent hotel- really nice staff who were helpful, friendly and provide good recommendations on Cordoba. Excellent room faced quiet courtyard and room was cool despite the searing heat.

Fantastic breakfast.

Location in Cordoba was good- a short walk either by the river or by interesting backstreets to the main sites. Plently of good bars and restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for three nights in three different rooms so think I am well placed to comment. This place is utterly delightful, certainly one of the nicest and most accommodating hotels we have ever stayed in.

The breakfast is a totally wonderful experience and well worth the 7 Euros.

All the staff are so accommodating. Carmen in particular is wonderful and the most customer focused person I have ever met in the many hotels I have stayed in over the years. Gerardo is also a great guy who is so helpful.

Very handy for all the sites and the Bodegas Campos is only two minutes walk away and well worth a visit as are the Patios at Viana.

Room Tip: If you want a room with an outside window don't choose a Courtyard room.

At first when approaching this hotel you think you have made a dreadful mistake. The road or lane up to this hotel doesn't augur well but the minute they open the door you are totally reassured you have made the right decision. The owner is so nice and so are his staff (both of them!). They couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. The room we had was large, clean and comfortable. Some have commented on the room lacking a bin. No mini bar wasn't a problem as you can get drinks downstairs during the day and after hours there is an honesty bar which was more than sufficient. Breakfast was very good croissants, local breads, melon puddings, rice puddings and more if you wanted. The private spa was a welcome bonus after a long day walking miles round the town. The jacuzzi is large but the sauna just big enough for two friends. A really good place to stay and excellent value. So far as location is concerned just a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and to the other attractions such as the patios.
