Conveniently located, opposite the cathedral in a beautifully restored place. All in very close proximity; car park 5 minutes, like bridge, Alcazar and restaurants. Btw; no entry fee for cathedral visit before 0920 and Alcazar before 1030.

I/we can only endorse the superlatives offered by other reviewers from their staff in this lovely facility. Located immediately adjacent to Cordoba's fabulous Mezquita, and close by to several other Moorish sites, the hotel is immaculate, offers a full breakfast and excellent service...both at the reception area and by housekeeping staff. Best of all, there is ready access from the hotel to many restaurants, markets and cafes outside of the tourist areas, as well as the several small but interesting museums strewn around the neighborhoods in Cordoba. Definitely good value for the price, and highly recommended.

This a charming hotel in a great location. The Mezquita is across the street, and it is a short walk to the Alcazar, Roman Bridge, or the Jewish Quarter. We had a quaint room on an inner courtyard. Courtyard is peaceful and cool, great for resting and recharging. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was a great value. Didn't see an elevator, so check before booking if you will need one.

The fabulous Mezquita is likely what drew you to Cordoba, so there's no better place to stay than the Hotel Mezquita, literally four strides from one of the entrances to the breathtaking cathedral/mosque. The prices are very low, and it's low-frills, but it's clean and has character. Its decor perfectly fits the neighborhood, which is the medieval religious center and the Roman bridge. We knew our stay in Cordoba wouldn't be long and was focused on the Mezquita, so there was no better place to stay.

Room Tip: Pack light if you are staying in a double occupancy. It was up a healthy flight of stairs that made...

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and were very satisfied with this hotel. It is rather quirky with many different artifacts around the building particularly on the ground floor. The location is great for visiting all the main attractions and interesting areas of Cordoba. Our room was clean, comfortable and of a good size, the bathroom was also of a reasonable size. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room but it was possible to collect one from reception. This is probably something they could look to include in rooms in the future. Our room faced the eastern wall of the Mezquita ,street side, we were not disturbed by any noise.
Would stay again and would recommend if you are looking for a good value hotel with character and no frills!

Very traditional, although the building is old it is well maintained and just added to the atmosphere of the location. Brilliant everything on your doorstep or just outside your window. Would stay there again.

This is a 3 star hotel, which I think is appropriately reflected in the price and overall look and feel of the property. The location, however, is 5 stars. The hotel is located right along the eastern wall of the Mezquita, so you really can't beat the convenience of it all. It is easy to get dropped off by taxi and to catch one, in case you want to venture outside of the Mezquita zone.

The hotel itself seems to have been converted from a centuries' old building and maintains the quaintness and charm of an antique house, with lots of interesting pieces of old furniture in the common areas. The rooms were quiet, and reasonably comfortable. The staff's service and attitude was reasonably friendly, no surprises there.

One questionable experience: Check out time was 11 or 12, I forget, but me and my parents were basically late by about half an hour coming back to the hotel to check out. You see, my parents are elderly and walk at a very slow pace, so we were only able to do so much to rush back to the hotel. The manager kind of freaked out when he finally saw us running into the lobby because he had no idea when exactly we were going to be back, and there were guests waiting to check in to our rooms. This was our fault, and I completely understood his frustration. What was hard to accept was that they had already entered our rooms and cleared everything out and put them in the lobby. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it was our fault for being late, on the other, I found it unacceptable for our rooms to be rummaged through and cleared out without our prior consent.

Parking is a bit tricky if you rent a car. There is no dedicated parking for the hotel, so we had to unload our luggage in front of the hotel, then drive to the parking garage. The manager (owner?) tried explaining to me several times where the closest parking was, but I still thought it was unclear. By the time I got to the indicated lot, they told me that was reserved for guests of another hotel, and that it was not available for general parking. I ended up driving to a lot right outside of the Mezquita complex, which was a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Beware, driving within the Mezquita zone is very tricky. Some of the alleys I drove through were ridiculously narrow and tight, and filled with tourists, so one needs to exercise proper caution.

All in all, we had a nice stay at this hotel, and I would stay here again if I were to visit Cordoba again, especially for the location and very good value.
