This Parador - unlike many of its sister Paradors - is not an historic or even particularly distinguished property. However, the staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful and the hotel offers everything one might need. The rooms, while plain, are large and comfortable, very clean, and most have a lovely view of Cordoba....some have balconies, which are quite pleasant on which to enjoy a glass of wine and the view. Our guestroom - with balcony - was on the third floor and we were quite happy with it and its view. The Parador has a large pool - with a lifeguard - and quite large grassy garden area on which guests can spread out. And there is plenty of parking on the property. The Parador is located outside the city, however a bus to the city stops just outside the Parador entrance and runs every half hour; it is a cheap and easy means of getting into town without driving.

The restaurant in the Parador is very good and offers a nice selection of both tapas and entree options and wines. It is not inexpensive but it is convenient and good and you can dine either indoors or on the terrace with its view of the city. There is also a large bar and lounge area. A very tasty, plentiful and diverse buffet breakfast is offered in the mornings for 18E. That compares well with other hotel breakfasts we had, many of which cost more than that.

The only "negative" we encountered during our stay was that guestroom floors are marble and uncarpeted and we could hear high-heeled footsteps from the room above us - as well as TVs, showers, and flushing toilets. On weekends the hotel may have wedding receptions, etc. so it can be a bit noisy and crowded, but that generally clears up by dinner time.

We had booked at this Parador in advance, online. It was a bit confusing at first but worked out just as it was supposed to. We had tried to book other Paradors but one must book well in advance, especially in spring/summer. In any case, we enjoyed this Parador and would stay there again when in Cordoba.

Room Tip: We enjoyed our balcony - and third floor location - so would recommend getting a room w/ balcony so...

A few kilometres north of the city , but a short taxi ride into the city (6-8 Euros)
Very comfortable great views . Large well appointed rooms with balconies. The staff are very helpful ,food very good , a great place to relax with friends.the hotel restaurant is much better than the tourist restaurant in the old city.

Although situated some distance from the town, this Parador Hotel has a good setting. Plenty of parking space for hire car. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were excellent, plenty of room. Great swimming pool area. Buffet breakfast had a great selection and tea and coffee was made to order and delivered to the table. Had tapas one evening on the terrace at a reasonable cost. One evening was serenaded by a Spanish classical guitar player in the hotel restaurant, which we were invited by the barman to go into and enjoy with the other guest, even though we had not eaten in the restaurant. We went into town and back via taxi, booked for us by the hotel staff, at an average cost of 7 euros for one journey, as this was shared with friends it was not too bad. Plenty of taxi ranks in the town to get back. Would be very happy to stay here again and try another Parador Hotel in Spain.

Room Tip: Use the swimming pool late afternoon after a hot day sight-seeing, a real treat.

We really loved our stay in the Parador de Cordoba. Unusually, this Parador is not in an historic building, but is relatively modern. It offers excellent facilities, with restaurants, breakfast area, sitting areas, and a lovely sunny terrace for a drink and tapas. The gardens around the hotel give a most pleasant atmosphere, as does the lovely view of Cordoba from our verandah. The private parking adjacent to the hotel makes it easy for the traveller with a car. We simply parked, and did not use our car whilst in Cordoba, as it was so easy and well priced to get a taxi right into the old town centre. We were especially happy with the delightful room we were given. the room number was 215, but probably 315 above would also give similar benefits. This room has an additional lounge area, and a second room we called the dressing room, off the bathroom. This was in addition to an unusually large room containing the bed and a sitting area, all opening onto a wrap around desk. We could not get over the space we had. A wonderful time.

Very nice hotel. We had a very large room with an extra bed for our boy. Lovely balcony with nice views over the city. We had a hire car so the free car park was very welcome. The pblic ares are very good and the staff are friendly. The restaurant was a bit formal for our needs at the time but looked really good.
Thoroughly recommended.

A well located hotel on the NW outskirts of Cordoba (approx. €8.00 taxi fare from the hotel into the old town and its historic attractions ) with free parking. It was everything that you would expect of a Parador - clean, excellent service from a friendly and attentive staff, free Wi-Fi although we initially had a few problems with the connection in our room. This was swiftly rectified by Reception. The only problem we encountered was that we couldn´t reduce the temperature of the air conditioning in our room below 25.9C. This made sleeping a little difficult hence the lower rating given for sleep quality. This was not fixed during our stay. Buffet breakfast had excellent choices. Beware the portion sizes in the restaurant at dinner - they are enormous! We enjoyed a relaxing three night stay at this Parador and we would certainly stay here again the next time we are in Córdoba.

Stayed here in January to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Splashed out on a junior suite and had a lovely room with a spacious bedroom and a comfortable separate living room with a sofa and comfy chairs. We also had a lovely balcony - though too cold to use in January.

The hotel is very pleasant. Beautifully located on the outskirts of Cordoba. Nice and tranquil environment. El Corte Ingles shop and supermarket close-by. Taxi ride into centre of town is about 8 euros. Parking is free.

There is free wi-fi throughout the hotel at decent speeds.

We would be very happy to return to this hotel again any time.
