“View from a distance better than close-up”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

The view of the columns at a distance is quite impressive, but there's no close access due to fencing. A multi-lingual plaque explains to some extent what the former temple is about but its description is as boring as dishwater. Only of interest if you happen to be passing already.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

Could be so much better but the site is covered in fencing and has a large amount of litter strewn over it. Come on Cordoba, this should be one of your key attractions.

“If you are walking by then take a glance”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 October 2013

I suppose if you haven't seen a roman temple before then this is worth going out of your way but if you have been to Rome or any other area with an array of roman buildings then it isn't going to impress you. It was near our hotel so we saw it on many occaisions during our visit but the fact that it is has modern buildings on two sides and then some untidy construction fencing by the pavement doesn't do it any favours

“Closed for renovation - not a must see”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 October 2013

The little you can see through the fence suggests this is a fine example of Roman architecture. Hopefully, when renovations are complete, the Roman Temple will be open to the public and be impressive. For now, don't bother to visit.

“Interesting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 October 2013

The surroundings of the Roman Temple are surrounded by a fence that protects it. I do not understand the project about the temple, whether it will be restored fully or will be left in its present state. The fence around the temple looks like an eye-sore to me.
