We chose to eat at Frida's because a few weeks before we'd had a few drinks in there and by the time we were leaving we were drooling over the plates of food being served to the other tables.

The service is fantastic... personal and friendly and they always make sure you are happy with your food. We had the guacamole (superb) and the tacos which are served in a portion of 6... perfect for a lunch for two with a beer. The food tastes fantastic and it's served with a small pot of spicy sauce if you prefer it a little hotter! Usually it's hard to find an actual spicy sauce in Spain but this one had a great kick, we were very impressed!

All in all, a great restaurant. The staff are really friendly, the food is lovely and although the terrace is fantastic on a sunny day... the inside of the restaurant looks cool too, especially at night!

Such a nice change from the usual tapas bars of the area! A very happy bar!

Frida Antojitos Mexicanos was a real pilgrimage destination for us, because of nostalgia for American-Mexican food, and we finally made it the night before leaving Cordoba. The setting is very sweet, with colorful decor including Mexican tarot-card wallpaper around the counter. The owners' son was there that night, chatting to us in Spanish, and we did our best to keep up the exchange.

The food was tasty, all in all, just a little bit small in portions, and on the expensive side for straightforward Mexican food. My partner had a cocktail that was very tasty and refreshing. It made a variation on the steady traditional Spanish food, but the traditional restaurants are often a better value, and of course despite the language in common, Spain is a lot further from Mexico than the U.S.!

The service is delightful, happy to speak English or Spanish.

The food is really good, despite the lack of lime from the Spanish culinary palette.

The guacamole and chips, and the frijoles burritos were delicious.

Most important is that the staff are delightful, and were happy to make the dishes veggie for us.

Stumbled across this family-owned and run restaurant, great location right in front of the river and near the Gran Mezquita yet has a neighborhood feel to it and away from the hordes of tourists.
Food is great, nicely presented but with an authentic homemade flavor to it, under the watchful eye of its owner.

You will not be ripped off either as it is very reasonably priced as it is not a tourist trap.
The guacamole is excellent and the salsas truly original. As a Mexican myself, I have no reservations to rate the quality of its food as excellent.
