“Outstanding Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and luckily we went. Blanco Enea was easily one of our best and most favorite gastronomic experiences on our over 2 week trip to Spain. We shared the lobster salad with radish, avocado, and pineapple to start. Chef recommended a delicious white wine which paired well with the salad. I ordered the oxtail with couscous risotto and my wife ordered the lamb with couscous, honey, cashews, and apricot paper (I know there were better names for both of these dishes, but those are the details I/we remember). For dessert we shared a 'bread pudding' of sorts with a vanilla gelato and the 'chocolate tree.' These desserts were scrumptious! Dinner and dessert were enjoyed with a bottle of red wine- Cortijo Los Aguilares. Lastly, we were treated to a refreshing gin and tonic. I cannot speak highly enough of the Chef and his staff at Blanco Enea! Chef explained the entire menu to us as it was in Spanish and answered all of our questions. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. Blanco Enea was an absolutely amazing experience!

“A moan worthy meal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

Enjoyed scrumptious lobster and shrimp salads with bits of pineapple, radishes, and micro greens. Crunchy bread. The traditional octopus dish had an innovative spin. Mouthwatering desserts: devine lemon tart filled with lemon curd, gelato and topped with meringue; mango tartin with pistachio gelato; and a chocolate tree. Excellent service- the menu is in Spanish but the wait staff explained it or asked the chef our questions. Wish we had time for another meal at Blanca Enea.

“A superb meal and evening!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

We made reservations and dined upstairs in a delightful room away from the busy sidewalk café. The owner/chef came to our table to explain the Spanish menu and followed up at the end of our meal to find out how we enjoyed our choices. Each dish was unique, those we chose where delicious and service was excellent. Based on comments from diners at nearby tables, Blanco Enea is a yet-to-be-recognized gem in Córdoba. TripAdvisor doesn’t lie and because many locals haven’t yet discovered Blanco Enea, it wasn’t overcrowded. Highly recommended… go soon before Córdoba residents find out how good it is!

“Bestin Cordoba”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

This little restuarant set in a peaceful square in the San Pedro district of Cordoba but off the beaten track offers exceptional local cuisine with imaginative flair, a far cry from the touristy chains which crowd the streets just a few paces from here. The chef is first class, waiters magnificent both in their black and white attire, their attention to detail and their ability to understand even bad Spanish. Prices are very reasonable for this quality. This is a small restaurant so book, if possible. Also, no one minds if you only want to eat one dish plus drink, as we did the first time that we went, spending only about 15 euros each in total. Obvioulsy slightly more if you have a full meal as we did on the second night.
