We stayed here for two nights in April. The location really couldn't be better - very central for the Mezquita, which meant we could be there at 8.30am before they start charging admission at 9.30! The rooms are basic but clean. As others have said, the walls are thin and the public areas echoey, which makes it noisey when guests are leaving/coming in.

The staff was very helpful and the location was great. We were right behind the Mezquita & next to the roman bridge. A very good place to stay. It was quiet and comfortable right in the middle of the old town. Everything was amazingly convenient.

We stayed her for 2 nights for a pre-Christmas break. The hotel is small, clean and comfortable, and only 5 metres from the Mezquita! It was easy to walk everywhere in the city from here, very central. The staff could not have been more helpful, making us feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, our room had three balconies overlooking the Mezquita and one of the little side streets. Would recommend this to anyone looking for value for money, hard to beat!

We spent 2 nights at Hostal Azahar and mainly enjoyed our time there. The location is excellent, right next to the Mezquita and many of the other historical sites of the city. It is also an easy walk through the narrow lanes of the old town. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room a good size and very clean. The only issue i had was the very thin walls. We could quite clearly here people talking, moving around and the plumbing. At one stage i am pretty sure i heard someone in a nearby room change their mind..... If you are driving to the hostal you will need to contact for an access code to enter the traffic restricted street it is situated, there is public parking within 500 metres.
All in all an ok place to stay.

I stayed two nights in this clean and comfortabe place that was just right for my budget. It is situated next to Mezquita, and you can walk throug the nice small streets with white houstes and green orange trees. Much of nice things to see.
