What an absolutely picturesque place. From the delightful staff who welcome you, almost literally, with open and welcoming arms, to the delightful oasis created by cool tiles and fountains when you walk in, and the charming room that was ready for us even though we arrived early. This is a small hotel with a big heart. Breakfast on the patio with a gnarled olive tree and warm sunshine starts your day and ensures that you feel that "God's in his heaven and all is right with the world". Lest I forget it is only a 5 minute walk to the Mezquita! Stay here if you go to Cordoba!!

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a superior room.It was gorgeous. Staff were most
Helpful. The hotel is right in the middle of town so it is close to everything. If you are worried about driving down narrow streets, maybe not best if you have a car. Once you are there though. They take the car to the hotel parking for you.Loved our stay here and adored Cordoba.

Very well maintained hotel close to the Mezquita. Cordoba is filled with tourists on foot- many of them passing right in front of the hotel, yet once inside the hotel there was a sense of peace and quiet. Common areas were light filled and comfortable. Our room was small but since we stayed for one night only it was more than adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We selected this hotel because we only had one day in Cordoba and wanted to be close to the Mezquita. It only has 9 rooms and we got the last one and probably the smallest room they had left. The staff was very nice but the bed was less memorable. If you are driving, be prepared to fold in your car mirrors to squeeze through tiny alleys. Your GPS will get you close but inevitably you will probably have to roll down the windows and start asking.

This hotel is a beautiful property in the heart of Cordoba. Minutes from all the sights, its an oasis in the middle of a sun drenched and hot city. At our arrival, during a torrential downpour, we were given free drinks while the staff prepared our check in. We were given a free upgrade into a wonderful room with a bathroom to die for. Not to put too fine a point on it but this bathroom was the nicest we saw in Spain. Breakfast was filling and good quality. Fresh coffee, and freshly squeeze Orange juice were supplied, as well as other goodies. This is not a cheap hotel, room was expensive but there was alot of quality you got for your money. The only negative was the free PC was a bit finiky. The free wifi on the other hand worked fine. Rooms on the first floor can be noisy, since our room bordered onto the street, and in Cordoba the street is only inches from your window. So if you sleep with the window open, be prepared for some noise.

Central, elegant and atmospheric. Five minute walk to the Mesquita in an area of excellent restaurants including the Churrasco’s own. Rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated with antiques and equipped with computers with free internet and flat-screen televisions. A good breakfast in interesting surroundings. Driving to the hotel was a challenge, but the staff immediately took care of the car and gave us excellent directions for leaving town at the end of our stay. Staff was very helpful.

From the moment we arrived, until the time we left, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The room was a very good size; it might have been a little over the top in the décor, but that was fun.

The location was great and the taxi driver took us there from the train station without incident. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived (11:00 am). The flat screen TV was huge and got a handful of international stations and plenty of Spanish stations.

The location was great, but Cordoba is a confusing city, so make sure you get a map and are prepared to get lost. There were great tapas places and restaurants nearby and we had dinner at the restaurant associated with the hotel on our last night, which was very good. You have to visit just to watch them cook the meat.

The best part of the hotel though is the staff. They went out of way to help us out and graciously spoke perfect English. They brought us room service breakfast, in fact we ordered so much they made two trips.

The best part was on the last day, we needed to leave at about 7:15 am. The told us they would take care of breakfast, but we told them not to worry we would get something at the train station. When we came down to have them call for a cab, they had table for two set up for us with linen and china plates. They brought us cereal, breads and juice. They called us a cab and we were at the station in plenty of time for the train. It was a very nice touch.
I have close to 40 reviews and I have to say this was the best hotel that I have ever stayed at.
