“Great Location and Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2013

We're glad we took a taxi from the train station to the hotel - easy, quick and reasonable, about 7 Euros. The hotel is clean, comfortable and ideally located in the Jewish Quarter, just a 5 minute walk to the Mezquita or 10-12 to the Alcazar. We loved wandering around the narrow streets and looking into the patios and courtyards that were open during the Patio Festival.
Booking through the hotel website and emails was clear and easy to do.
Our standard double room, number 251, with windows overlooking a nice inner courtyard was clean, quiet and a bit crowded with some very nice furniture pieces and rich color choices. There was plenty of hot water in the modern bathroom. I appreciated an electrical outlet near the bed for a CPAP or chargers. The TV in the room serves as the viewing screen for your computer keyboard - very handy if you didn't bring your own tablet or laptop, but a bit tricky and slow.. Breakfast was good with several choices, included with the room, and made to order.
The service was outstanding. Right from the beginning we were given directions and a Patio Festival Map that made navigating very easy during our 2 day stay. As soon as we walked in Pedro grabbed our suitcases and walked us up the one flight to our room. He also produced an extra suitcase rack for us. When we asked Juan a question about the computer in the room, he immediately came to the room to show us how it worked. One evening there was a problem with the toilet. Within 2 minutes, Juan was at our door. Unable to resolve the issue, he left and returned about 5 minutes later with the person responsible. Time from reporting the problem until resolution? about 25 minutes. When we left Cordoba, Pedro and Juan arranged for us to have a slightly earlier breakfast because we had to catch an early train.
We would certainly recommend this hotel and stay here again.

This hotel is really welcoming and comfortable. We cannot recommend it more highly! If you read the other reviews you will see that some people have had problems with parking. You shouldn't let this put you off, but it is probably worth checking your route before you come. We were really lucky - it turns out that if you come on a Sunday there is free parking for the day near the hospital on some of the spaces along the road (not IN the hospital, just near it). Then you have to pay from 9am on Monday. It is a really great hotel - easy to walk around the main sites of Cordoba, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

This lovely small hotel is in the city center, and has parking which is a rare commodity. Our room was very special and had it own terrace where we could have breakfast, which was included in the cost. Easy access to all sites and a courteous helpful staff

My husband and I spent one night in this delightful small hotel. After reading the reviews and noting how difficult others said it was to find the hotel, I requested directions and information on parking, which the hotel immediately sent me by email. These were essential, as even though we had a European GPS, the cobblestone streets are very narrow and we would not have found it without help. The hotel is exceptionally well located in the Jewish quarter, close to the mosque, the Andalucian stables and the Hammam, which are the three things we visited. The service at the hotel was excellent. The room we had, which I requested after looking at the photos on line, was very pretty and had a balcony with an electric shade, which we would have used, but did not find the remote for until we left. The price, at 199Euros was fair. Parking at 21 Euros was very close, but one must have a small car, again, bc the streets are incredibly narrow in the Jewish quarter. All in all, the charm of this hotel and its perfect location made our one night visit in Cordoba the best time of all in Southern Spain. The desk staff was consistently pleasant and helpful, walking out with us to show us to the garage and help us park our car.

Room Tip: Look at the photos on line. We chose based on the colors we like and the fact that there was a balco...

Beautifully authentic hotel, staff were very helpful indeed - from the much needed beer as we checked in through to the restaurant recommendations, nothing was too much bother.
Room was very clean and comfortable.
Breakfasts were good too - they sorted us an early one on the day we were leaving.

We just spent 2 nights in Cordoba, and after reading the glowing reviews of this hotel on TA, was very pleased with our choice.

We had room 231 which was directly above the lobby - we heard some noise, but it was not disturbing.

The hotel is in an excellent location of Cordoba, we walked everywhere. Charming property - well maintained, wonderful and kind staff (our train left before breakfast service began, and they were very thoughtful in bringing it to our room at 7 am!), just delightful. Would recommend to anyone going to Cordoba.

I would go back to Cordoba just to stay in this hotel again.

Everything was perfect- location, quality of service, food, room, ambiance, etc. I could probably go on forever...

They suggest you have breakfast on your own personal balcony. Who wouldn't love a place like that?
