We stayed here in February - a very good price for a magical location, literally a stones throw from Al Mezquita. Friendly staff, rather enjoyed the Anadlusian breakfast too! All in all a charming location.

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough the rooms were comfortable (we had an adapted one as my friend is in a wheelchair) and ours had enough space in which to manoeuvre her wheelchair..all the staff were friendly and helpful, the guy at reception got us an adapted taxi to show us the important sites at a very reasonable rate. Contrary to other reviews we found the food good, breakfast was adequate, granted we did have to pay extra for orange juice but it was freshly squeezed.
We enjoyed our time there and if I ever returned to Cordoba I would certainly check into this hotel again

I loved this hotel directly across a narrow lane from the Mezquita, yet it was quiet and peaceful as you passed down a flower filled lane and across a dining patio to enter the hotel. I had a clean and comfortable room on the ground floor looking onto another small courtyard.

Room Tip: I asked for a quiet room.

We've spent a weekend here in the summer of 2013. Firstly, the hotel is situated straight into the heart of Cordoba so you can visit the the old part of the city by foot, have a lovely dinner and then calmly walk back to your room and rest. Secondly, the hotel has a lovely cordobes patio with plenty of flowers and shade where you can have a relaxing breakfast. Lastly, the room we stayed in, was comfy and clean, with aircon that was much appreciated. Bathroom as well, convenient and clean. Can't actually complain about anything. In their restaurant you can taste the Cordobes specialities at reasonable to high prices. We've spent a lovely weekend in Cordoba and the hotel has offered us that special cordobes feeling of romance.

I loved the location, the flower-filled entry, the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff, the tremendous variety in the guest population. I wish that wifi had been available in the rooms, not just the common areas. Beds were pretty tired and the sheets were low quality. As Mary mentions below, the breakfast was ho-hum and stingy compared to what we experienced at similarly priced hotels elsewhere in Spain. My husband asked for one refill on his small cup of breakfast coffee and they charged us for it.

This was a perfectly decent budget hotel in a high-priced location.

Room Tip: Ask for. a quiet location at the back.

As a wheelchair user the hotel provides very good accessible rooms on the ground floor. Often hotels claim wheelchair accessibility which is inadequate.
The hotel is in a prime location, however it is worth noting that the surrounding streets, being cobbled, prove very difficult and 'bone shaking' for a wheelchair user.
The price of the hotel is what you would expect in a tourist area. The continental breakfast is disappointing and seems stingy if you want orange juice you have to forgo either the bread or croissant. At 5.25 Euro you would expect juice, in the land of oranges!

Found this place after searching in the historical centre where all rooms seem to have been booked (it was the weekend, after all) and we were desperate to move out of our current hotel. If you want know more look for my review of Hotel Maximilian...... Anyway, we found this hotel, with an extremely over-priced room rate and a pretty miserable breakfast, but a fantastic location just opposite the main entrance to the cathedral and gardens. Incidentally one of the benefits of the location is that you can visit the Cathedral between 8:30 and 9:30 am free of charge! Otherwise there is nothing much to say about the room we had except that it was clean, quiet, had a window opening to a ventilation shaft, good TV with Spanish channels, reasonably efficient centrally managed air conditioning, small, squeezed-in bed, and had no WiFi. Oh yes, and it cost € 140 a night! Not exactly my idea of reasonable. But there you go, it was high season, it was May and the town was full. But we did eventually find a comfortable place at a reasonable price. For more info look at my review of Hostel Los Arcos.
