“Top Location for Cordoba”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

If you are visiting Cordoba for some sightseeing then the first thing you need to know is that this hotel is practically on top of the Cathedral/Mosque, round the corner from the tourist board and right next to the river and Roman Bridge. The train station is a €6 taxi fare away.
Rooms are comfortable, have good airconditioning, a large closet, decent size bathroom with bath and shower, TV (you can switch the language to English if you want to), basic hairdryer, in room toiletries, a fridge, the staff all speak good English and there is free wifi.
The indoor courtyard is very pretty but no-one seems to sit out in it, they have a cafe which although not the cheapest, you can get pastries, sandwiches, cake, icecream and drinks throughout the day. They also have a lift if you don't fancy the stairs.
One of the standout things we found was the breakfast which is great value at €5 per person. It is an unlimited continental buffet but has a good selection of food and drink - including free coffee machine doing lattes etc, fruit, meat, cheese, pastries, cereal, cakes, juice and loads more.
Our room overlooked the outdoor seating for the cafe but we didn't find it noisy. The staff were helpful in recommending sites to visit and you can get off the beaten track for bars and restaurants on foot within 5 to 10 mins walk.
Definately one to stay at for your trip to Cordoba.

The hotel has a great location, essentially right behind the Mezquita, one block from the river. Perfect for visiting the Mezquita and the area around it, and close enough to Plaza Tendillas and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful, driving us to the car park, and responding promptly to emails before we came to Spain. The rooms were reasonable sized with comfortable beds and good showers. Small lobby area with usual Spanish central courtyard. A/C and wireless connection worked well.

Great place next to the mosque cathedral wall. perfect location, charming building and functional rooms. Friendly staff who booked Flamenco tickets and recommended restaurants. Parking in a near by parking building 500m away was fine for us.

Middle of the road hotel but well presented. Great value

Room Tip: Some rooms have no windows so if this is a problem ask for one with a window

We stayed in this small hotel for two nights and found it very comfortable. The room was quite small but tastefully furnished. There was a good air conditioning system which was needed as the temperature in Cordoba during the day reached 47centigrade and the nights were in the 30s. The only negative was the noise, the rooms are advertised as soundproof but this was not the case.

The hotel overlooks the Mesquita and is a few minutes away from the Alcazar de Los Reyes and the Roman Bridge.

Car parking is available off site with directions given by the staff but driving through the Jewish Quarter where the hotel is situated is a nightmare. You do not need to use your car during your stay as there is a tour bus that you can hop on and off at your chosen destinations. A ticket for the bus lasts for two days.

OK location, location, location. The hotel is located right next to the mosque and up the hill from the roman bridge. The staff was very helpful in terms of making dinner reservations and getting us transportation to the train station.

The rooms are very basic, typical of European hotels. It is comfortable but not plush by any standards. we were there for only one night so it served our purpose very well.

Perfect location to explore the city, 2 minutes from the Roman bridge. Clean and friendly, small rooms but well appointed. Breakfast very unimaginative. Easy to find, nice café on the ground floor, Nice for a short stay but wouldn't want to spend more than a couple of nights.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the inner courtyard don't have a view but are very quiet and blacked out well.

Stayed in this hotel very recently with family. Great location but if you have a car use a sat nav or risk becoming trapped in very narrow lanes in the Jewish quarter. Helpful service from the desk staff re where to go . Rooms are clean and tidy and have great ambiance.Only drawback was lack of regular wi fi connection .
