We picked this hotel based on a friends experience some 2 years ago. 1st impressions we're trying to find the hotel through all those super narrow alleys in the old part of the city. Amazingly, the hotel is exceptionally well sign posted and just following the signs make the finding EASY.
On arrival, someone immediately came out to bring luggage in and also get in to the car with the driver to direct him to the parking garage.
In the mean time, the rest of us completed the "check-in" with well spoken staff ~ all in English. All very fast, very efficient, very friendly - by which time our driver returned from parking the rental car.
The rooms ~ for an hotel with "only" 2-stars were amazing. Rooms 401 (2 beds) & 402 with a super-king-size bed. Excellent bathrooms, great showers with huge towels.
The roof-top terrace was an amazing supprise. There's a "help-your-self/honour" bar where we found great wines, beers and even Gin &Tonics. Just make a card and drop it off at reception an they charge it to your room.
Sitting up on the roof with a great drink, watching the sun set while debating the best place to go for supper - how much better can it get ?!?
With absolutely ZERO road noise, sleep was a bliss.
All the major attractions we're less than 3-4 minutes walk. In 3 days/2 nights we didn't touch our rental...We picked this hotel based on a friends experience some 2 years ago. 1st impressions we're trying to find the hotel through all those super narrow alleys in the old part of the city. Breakfast was ~ OK/ acceptable but on the 2nd morning we chose a Bistro right around the corner instead.
Between the location, the rooms and most of all - the very friendly and supportive staff ~ this turned out to be one of our highlights for our Spain trip. Best part - this hotel is very affordably priced. A GREAT experience. Thank You Carpe Diem Staff😀More
