We had the first floor apartment accessed via the spiral staircase, the accommodation is really quirky, modern, spacious and well fitted out. The location is perfect, every part of the old city is totally accessible on foot and some of the best restaurants are a few minutes walk away, the beach is a 10/15 min walk which takes you through the most amazing park. Car parking is easy in the main car park adjacent the docks, this only a few minutes walk from the apartment and costs €20.00 for the week. The owners are incredibly helpful, the kettle had gone missing and literally within minutes of contacting Antonio he had bought and delivered it.
We had an amazing holiday in Cádiz of which this apartment contributed significantly, highly recommended and great owners.
We stayed in the downstairs apartment which was well equipped and very clean and tidy. We were met by Anna who showed us around and sent us via 'Whats App' the location of supermarkets, bars and restaurants. A hob and microwave were provided as was small oven/grill. There are two TV's but all spanish channels, however there is a dvd and a supply of CD music and films. Parking was a 5 minute walk away. The apartment was very comfortable and so convenient, we rarely used our car as most places were close by. The tourist map has a number of city walks, each a diferent colour and these colours are painted as lines on the ground so they are easy to follow. Whilst the apartment doesn't get a lot of sunlight (cool in summer) there is a square opposite which is great for sunbathing. Its also close to the bus terminus so its easy to get around if you don't want to walk. Great time.
This is a modern well equipped (first floor) apartment in Plaza Espania, with good parking just a few minutes away
It is about 4 mins walk to the nearest Supermarket, 15 or 20 mins to the Market, 3 mins to the bus terminus, 20 mins to the station and a few mins to the sea. Within 5 or 10 mins walk there are more Tapas bars than you can imagine plus a really good Flamenco bar. Like all Spanish cities Cadiz can be noisy.
The apartment is clean and light and equipped with good quality appliances. The bedroom is up a step and the headroom would be limited if you were tall. The access to the apartment is up a spiral staircase - again watch you're head if you are tall (we are not). There is good internet, DVD player but no English TV (we brought an internet TV box with us which worked fine with the WIFI).
We stayed here for several weeks and were very comfortable.
Clean, well equipped apartment.
Ideally situated to visit Cadiz itself and for train and ferry trips to other towns and cities.
Excellent bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Very clean beaches nearby.
One of the best locations in Cadiz.Close to the main shopping area, the train station, and the waterfront path around the city.A very reliable, honest, and helpful host. Our every need was looked after, and communication was always prompt.Antonio is a wonderful host. The apartment is just as advertised, with everything you need for your stay, all very neat and tidy.
Excellent place to stay. Great location in the old historical area. Everything within in walking distance. We just parked in the car in the parking(great bonus) and just walked. The apartment looks out on to a beautiful square. The apartment was bigger than we expected. It was beautiful and so clean. Nothing was too much trouble to help us. We flew into Seville airport at 9pm then drove to Cadiz and Ana was there to greet us smiling and helpful. Can't praise Ana enough or the apartment. Can't wait to go bk to the apartment or Cadiz
