we have been to other aqua lands and really enjoyed them, but this one was dreadful. The new rides advertised on posters we'd seen in Cadiz and elsewhere , which really amount to about 8 or 9 slides , were shut and have been since last week. We only realised this once we were inside, and 72 euros poorer plus 3 for parking, as all the signs were in Spanish. Consequentally the queues for the rest of the rides, and there aren't many, were massive, up to an hour. Even the wave pool was hopeless...only on once an hour and hardly a ripple. We complained, and the very nice customer services girl who spoke English agreed it Is bad but said that there was nobody working at the park who could sanction a refund and that the director had said no over the phone. Waste of money and a precious day's holiday.

I was super excited to take our kids to a kid-themed attraction after the museums and palaces and line-ups our travels had involved. Unfortunately the lines at Aqualand meant we didn't get to go on many of the big slides. I only went on 4 slides all day - the kids were able to do more as there are smaller slides for children that have short line ups.

2 recommendations - buy your tickets online in advance (don't wait until you're travelling, as you have to be able to print the tickets), and purchase the fast pass so you can have unlimited access to the tubes and the slides that go along with them.

There were tons of places to buy food and beverages, and lots of lounge chairs & umbrellas available around the pool. Apparently there was a charge, but we never paid it, and no one asked us to.

After a week of beaches, nature walks, and generally chilling out and historical places a young teenager soon needs some action! We drove up here from Vejer de la Frontera in under an hour and just as the park opened. Secured very comfortable loungers in shady grassy spot (lots of these) and after some rides with mum/dad son soon was off playing with the other kids. As usual the rides were initially busy then settled down to reasonable length queues of 5-10 minutes or less. There are parks with more exciting/challenging rides, but these were very safe, very clean (the whole park was spotless) with excellent facilities including available food, drinks and ice creams. Plenty of exciting looking pools/activities for the younger kids as well. To save on the food & drink costs suggest taking a good coolbox/s as many people 'in the know' were doing. Not a cheap outing, but we arrived when it opened and left shortly before closing and never felt we had wasted anything.

Arrive early as there are long queues to buy tickets. There are some free inflatable rings at the slides but these are quickly taken up. if there are no free ones left don't spend your money on renting them - the rides using rings have huge queues and are really not that great. It is also quite pricey to hire rings for 4 after paying the entry fee! We thought the best rides were the ones using a blue rubber mat (free) and our boys much preferred these ones to the slides with the inflatable rings. Rent a locker to put your valuables in. Keep an eye on the time -the rides close very promptly at about 6.30pm and the park closes at 7pm. Take your own food and drink. Look out for a discount voucher before you go to get up to 16 euros off entry price.

Family trip end of July - all rides were open fortunately as I can see how closed rides/splash pools would spoil a visit to this quite expensive day treat.

Agree with other comments about having to pay another 5 euros per inflatable ring which is ridiculous when the entrance fee for a family of 4 is already 80 euros. We went on a cloudier day and luckily the queue for free 'use and return' inflatables wasnt too big.

Concrete paths hot & uncomfortable to walk on but to be honest what do you expect from a waterpark?

Downside - the waves in the mock sea were rubbish, much to gentle.
