We've just returned from a wonderful holiday at Forest Hills. Debs and her team are very helpful and friendly. We are unable to fault the accommodation or service. There is a fantastic atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. We had a puncture in our hire car but Debs rang around and found a supplier who could fit a new one. Always sad to leave but very happy to return. We're already looking forward to our next visit in September.

Room Tip: If you don't mind the stairs then we found rooms on the top floor offer the best view of Estepon...

Better than all the rest!!!
Have written two other reviews of Forest Hills - but brief summary of the place.
This is timeshare, factional ownership resort, fairly small so has a great house party feel to the place, and each time we have found people interact with each other well. Really lovely lovely staff, including the Solbar.
Definitely need a car to appreciate the place, although it is possible to get lifts into town from other guests, access road not good, and somewhat difficult to find, but worth every effort.
Apartments clean and well maintained. Pity about SKY taking away the BBC channels, hopefully there will be a solution to this problem, but can get sky news and two film channels (old films mainly) but there is a DVD player and several free DVDs to borrow and is the library of books, and jigsaw. Washing machines are free and so are the soap tablets and the dishwasher tablets. Only place I know where things are free!!!
OK there are nit picking bits, like lots of stairs (design of building so not much can be done about that, but makes for interesting building and different designs of apartments. As an "more mature" person (lets face it an old lady!!) it would be useful to have a hand rail to get in and out of the hot tub (which is lovely and on the quite sun bathing floor). For me the bed is a bit hard, but others would complain about a soft bed, so that is individual taste. Air Con would be lovely, but would be expensive, and there is usually a good breeze and if the windows and doors are open it is fine.
This to me is best of the SEASONS resorts, mainly because of the people who work there, they are the best, and a big big thank to them for their very hard work.
Two weeks was not long enough, we shall return.
To all those fellow holiday makers whom we met at Forest Hills thank you for your wonderful company, you enrich our holidays.

Room Tip: Go for a higher floor in block 2 if you want a wonderful view.

Forest Hills sits atop a hill with amazing views from some rooms across to Gibraltar and, in the distance, North Africa. Only a short drive from Estepona but a car is essential in order to see the surrounding area. Many visitors make the trip inland to the spectacular Ronda or up the coast to the more exotic Marbella and Puerto Banus.
We have visited six times now and always find plenty to do in the area. Many really good restaurants in easy reach and the on-site bar and restaurant have a good selection available. Resort Manager, Debs, is always welcoming and will resolve any problems that may arise. Refurbished only a few years ago the rooms are well appointed and clean. Swimming pool is heated and, although the sunbathing area is not large, there seem to be enough loungers for everyone. Entertainment provided some evenings.
I am sure that we will be back again

Room Tip: Lots of steps and no lift so ask for a lower level room if any mobility difficulties. Otherwise the...

Forest Hills Seasons is an amazing place sitting atop of a large hill. It has stunning views from the rooms and also the pool where on a clear day you can see Morocco, the Atlas Mountains and Gibraltar. The service there was excellent from all staff. They would go out of there way to help and please you. We were the youngest couple there but everyone was quite friendly and got along. The poolside restaurant had nice food and is fairly priced! I would recommend hiring a car because it is a fair walk to town! Highly recommend this place for a nice getaway in beautiful southern Spain.

Just returned from a week at Forest Hills with my son and daughter and their families, ten of us in all! We had two, two bedroom apartments on the top floor with just a landing between, so that we were all able to get together easily. The accommodation was ideal with great views of the surrounding countryside. We had been before, some 4 years ago, but were greeted as if we had left last week. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The pool and pool bar were great, and we were looked after in a very efficient and friendly manner. (The Sunday barbecue was particularly welcome after our long journey.) The location is amazing and well placed for visits of all kinds. Beach, culture, old town charm, even shopping. We're definitely not going to leave it another four years before we go again. Fabulous weather was an added bonus. Thank you Seasons for a great family holiday!

Just returned from a week at forest hills and it definitely is hard to fault. The views are breathtaking and the apartments are immaculate. A hire car is definitely a must as it is surrounded by very steep hills and it is quite far to any shops or city centre. Although I can see why people would spend all week sitting around the pool! The staff are lovely and very welcoming. I wouldn't suggest bringing children here as there isn't much for them and not many other children around for them to play with. Overall, I had an amazing week and would definitely go back!

A trip to Puerto Banus in Marbella is definitely a must! Every other car is a brand new bentley or mercedes etc and the yachts are huge. La Canada is really good for clothes shopping.

Room Tip: The higher floor rooms have better views but a lot of steps to climb up, we stayed in room 308 and t...

Sitting on the terrace of room 205 as I write this. Ahead of me in the distance sits Morocco and the atlas mountains; closer is wonderful Gibraltar, where the rock taxi tour is a must. About 5k away is town of estapona with its usual mix of beachside eateries, bars, shops and narrow geranium lined streets. To the right sits the local mountain range and forests, and to left you could probably see the headland of calahonda; bring binoculars!!

Forest hills sits on hillside and gets the sun from first light until it sets behind the mountain an hour or so before dark.
By car from malaga, when nearing estapona, look for the kempinsky hotel sign (kempinsky is on google maps), on the right, then take the next exit at the Aldi supermarket sign, over the roundabout, over the four way junction/dirt road and follow the road for 2 minutes and you'll see FH on the hill in front of you.
The Aldi has everything you need and at good prices.
Cant say enough about the staff; fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly. I realy get the impression they would go more than the extra mile to help out.
This room is on two floors; the only downsides I could find were....1. The bathroom is downstairs. 2. To get to the terrace you pass through the bedroom with breakfast if you want to eat outside. The room has everything you need and with the exception of dust on the floor under the very good bed, is very clean and well maintained.
The pool is spotless and welcoming and the pool bar food is good and fairly priced; stock up on drinks through happy hour if your on a budget.
If you're looking for a busy resort type holiday, spend most of your spare time wearing an arsenal or man United shirt, think a quality restaurant is one with pictures in the menu, or don't know what a semicolon is; FH is not for you. Similarly, if you think the labels on your clothes are more important than the clothes attached to the label, look elsewhere.
This is a great place for couples and families alike and we hope to come again soon.

Room Tip: If you're not happy, don't complain; ask, and if they can help, they will.
