we went there then we arrived at 2;00 they were very good and let us in then even though check in was at 5;00. The swimming pool was good because you could have a drink there because the bar was by the pool. It had very nice gardens there to walk threw to get to the swimming pool.
they have a good tennis court to. They also have a place called happy hour between 5-6 were you can get a drink then get 1 free(only with some drinks)
the rooms were very good we got a balcony and a roof terrace.
The only thing that was not so good was the key was really stiff and my child that was 15 could not open the door.
It is good for families of all ages and couples. They have 3 pools 2 outside 1 inside then a bubble bath kind of round thing.
I would recommend it.
we will defiantly be returning here again.

We had a great time here. It was nearby to the beach, easy to find and access from the main road, the rooms were excellent quality and the staff were very friendly. It was excellent value and extremely clean. Highly recommended!

We have stayed in MacDonald resorts before in the UK so anticipated a high standard of accommodation. We were not disappointed. The resort is designed in a 'village' layout with ground floor apartments and first floor maisonette units. We had a 2 bed first floor unit which was spotless, recently refurbished to a very high standard with lovely bed linen and furnishings. Very well equipped throughout. There was a sun terrace on the top floor with additional little kitchen area for preparing food/drinks etc. and outside table and chairs and loungers.

The whole resort was beautiful with flowers everywhere and really tidy. Pool area lovely, onsite restaurants really good, staff very friendly and accommodating, shop useful though limited choice and the sun shone all week. Easy walk to a lovely beach, and across the highway to village of Cancelada, where you will find at least 5/6 really good restaurants. What more could we want!

Negatives: not many, but the resort is just off a busy dual carriageway highway. You cannot hear a thing from this road once you are in the resort but we hired a car from the airport and had difficulty at first in finding the correct slip road and underpass to access the resort! Be prepared for an electricity charge at the end of your stay (which was not much for a week). If you have mobility problems make sure you ask for a ground floor apartment- others have quite a few steps to negotiate.

Thoroughy recommended.
This resort is ideal if you want a chilled out week. Not much in the way of entertainment or for older children to do (other than 3 pools), but ideal for couples or those with small children. Easy bus ride to Estepona (which is stunning with all the flowers), 3 good supermarkets not far away

Room Tip: Be aware some units have a lot of steps and stairs

Stayed at this resort at the half term (week after most other schools) We were in the north part of the resort. We had a 2 bed apartment which was lovely and big. We are a large family (prop forward shaped 2 boys and dad, and 5ft 10 mum) and there was lots of room for us. The pool in the North part was open and heated so was absolutely gorgeous, the South pool was closed for refurb, but we only went down to the south to eat at Enrique's bar so not a problem. You do need a car as on the main run though from Malaga to Gibraltar. We had no problem with noise from the road. Food at the pool bar was really good quality. Overall a really relaxing time, and voted by the boys as one of the best. Small downside was that the main bed was small and uncomfortable, but as stated we are larger than normal people so that could have been part of it. A King size bed would have been better than standard double.

While the ground-floor garden is a lovely touch, the 1-bedroom apartment, though well-equipped, was tiny, with the kitchen literally jammed into an alcove between the living room and bedroom. The pull-out sofa bed took up all of the living area, although it states on the website that this is a murphy bed - it isn't. It's not really acceptable that accommodation for 4 people is half the size of that for 6 people, but this is not unusual in timeshare apartments. The main pool was closed, despite it being half-term, and the main route to the beach covered with dog-fouling (tip - cut through the southern part of the resort to avoid this). We were told there was no need to book for one of the activities, then when no-one turned up we were told that this was because we hadn't booked! Also very out of the way unless you have a car. Not dreadful, but definitely not RCI Gold Crown status.
