“Magic accommodation, home from home. People so helpful and friendly.”

From the first contact to the actual booking, so smooth. House was in the perfect place, easy to reach beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. We found everything we needed in the house to either cook breakfast or a dinner for a night in. Plenty of bedding, towels, crockery, saucepans etc. Home from Home. So peaceful, even enjoyed he mynah bird next door. Very relaxing on the super clean beach, lunching in Paco Bar, food & drink tasty. Visited Robbies and had a wonderful meal in the most original surroundings of Marilyn Monroe and stars of another era!. Gibraltar was fun as was Marbella. So cheap to travel so far on the bus and on time too!. Hoppa airport services very good, punctual and good drivers. All in all a perfect holiday, cannot wait to go again next year. Never been back to the same place twice, but we were so chilled we didn't want to come home!

“Excelent location”
Reviewed 5 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We spent the our final week in Spain (out of three) in this very charming town house in Estepona. It is located in the old part of the town, very close to the beach. We travelled with young children (5 and 9) and they loved it too. Local supermarkets are ample and the main shopping and restaurant street (Calle Real) is near by. Cathy was really helpful and contributed to make this a stay we will remember.

“Charming house and very pleasant owner”
Reviewed 8 June 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We stayed in Cathy's lovely house in Feb/March 2014. It is a charming house with everything needed for a holiday stay. It is located in a lovely street which is central to the old part of town, restaurants, bus station and the beach. We appreciated the fact there was some heating as, although very sunny and pleasant during the day, it can be bit chilly in the evenings in Feb/March. Communications with Cathy were excellent - prompt and very helpful. We found the cost of the rental very good value as well.

Many thanks to this guest for taking the time to write the review...just a quick addition to this is that the buses now stop just down on the main
road at the bottom of our street as the bus station is being rebuilt...

“Charming house that grew on us every day”
Reviewed 23 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We've just returned from a weeks stay at this beautiful, charming house. It's set in a wonderful location close to shops, bars and the beach and the street is so gorgeous with all its flowerpots.
The house has everything you could possibly need, a modern well equipped kitchen, lovely traditional bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an amazing roof terrace and a shady courtyard if it gets too hot.
Communication with Cathy ( the owner) is easy and friendly, its definatley a place we will return to

“endorsement of all the previous reviews of this excellent property”
Reviewed 1 March 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We visited in October 2013 for one week and liked the property and the location so much that we returned for 5 weeks in Jan/Feb 2014. The house is comfortable and well equipped. There are lots of books and it is possible to get English films on television (channel 24). It is only 5 minutes walk from the sea front and various bars and eating places. The old town is all around and is beautifully decorated with hanging baskets of geraniums and tubs of plants outside every house. The weather at this time of years is variable, one week was cool and windy, but most of the rain was at night and every day there was sunshine for at least part of the time. The temperature , though cool night and morning, was always mid 60s for several hours mid day. We were able to lie out on the loungers on the terrace between 3 and 6 on many days and often sat outside restaurants at lunchtime. Cathy was always attentive and helpful and kept in touch with us during our stay. We will certainly be going back!

“Full of charm and character! Viva Espana!”

We stayed in Calle Chorro with our 4 children, aged 9-15, and it was absolutely perfect! There was something for everyone and all within a short walk - not an easy holiday to find with teenagers in tow! Exploring the old town, which the house is in, and the nearby port area kept the adults happy; shopping, Wi-Fi cafes and watersports kept the teenagers happy; fabulous beaches (Al Rada beach is 2 mins walk; Cristo beach 10mins walk, and numerous others which are walkable (long walk) or within easy reach in a taxi) kept the little ones happy!
We all loved the house itself - full of character and traditional Spanish charm, well looked after, an internal courtyard and a sun terrace on the roof of what appears to have been the original 'donkey house' - now a lovely, cool, double bedroom! The owners have thought of everything - clear directions, beach towels, sun umbrellas, beach mats, extensive selection of DVDs and books, local information books, take away menus (we had a lovely Chinese meal delivered to the door on a lazy day)... the list goes on .. We enquired beforehand about Wi-Fi, TV etc but in actual fact, we didn't ever switch the TV on or even consider it, nor did we miss WIFI - there was so much to do! When our teenagers wanted wi fi, they simply walked to the end of the road and chose a café, conversing in Spanish the entire time (our reason for going to Spain) with neighbours, in shops and in cafes - which was much more fun than sitting indoors! The old town is beautiful and the house is a minutes walk from Plaza del Flores and the buzz of meandering streets around it - all of which are 'alive' until the small hours; however Calle Chorro itself is a quiet street with friendly (stereotypical old ladies sitting out in the street :) )neighbours - the best of both worlds!
If you hate soul-less hotel rooms and want everything rolled into one - a real taste of Spain, authentic charm, beaches, shopping, endless selection of tapas bars, churinguitos, cafes, restaurants, history, walking, relaxing, watersports all literally around a corner or two - this is the place!
One other important detail - the owner was wonderfully helpful and easy to get hold of from the outset, making booking and the stay itself all run very smoothly!
Can't wait to return!
