This is situated at the end of La rada beach just below elmfaro lighthouse which can be seen from most viewpoints
There a stroll through the fishermens area where there are normally to be seen heparin their nets or hanging outthe "flying fish" to dry and to sell. The port is very pleasant and on a Sunday morning until 2pm there is a tourist market there. This is when it's at it's busiest. There are lots of bars and restaurants of all descriptions. If you want a late night out this is the place to go. Very late on though it does get a bit too noisy. It's a nice place to .visit but. In my opinion not as nice as the centre of estepona

Nice place to sit and relax with a coffee, or beer, and considering it is a marina, prices were not too bad. Bar past the arches on the right as you go down, and then turn left are friendly and having spent two weeks trying my Spanish, the owner kindly wished us a safe trip home in perfect English, despite being Spanish. Nice touch!!

Well worth a day trip from Marbella, 1 hour on the bus at a cost of 3.80 euro's each way. The old city, with each street lined with different colour plant pots was very nice to see and pictureque. along with a nice little square for refreshments. buses run every half hour to/from Marbella.

We went to the market on the weekend which had lovely bits and pieces for gifts or for yourself. Lovely restaurants with a real Spanish feel!
