Description: La Chancla is a small and friendly three star hotel set in a pedestrian area on the sea front of Pedregalajo, a traditional fishing quarter of Malaga. It is the only lodging in the capital of Malaga that can boast of such a particular location, on the sea shore, where you can find all the peace you need within the city centre. Spend the day relaxing on the sun terrace of La Chancla soaking up the sun, In the evenings here you can admire the impressive Andalusian sunsets. Take a stroll down to the beach from La Chancla, where you can lie back on the fine sands and swim in the Mediterranean Sea. After a long days sightseeing, or on the beach, unwind in the on-site jacuzzi, followed by a drink in La Chanclas terrace bar.

“Great hotel, right on the beach!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2013

Stayed at this hotel at start of September with 3 friends. Rooms were spacious and had great views of the sea and beach. Towels and sheets changed daily and all rooms had a small welcome pack with essentials you might have forgotten eg, toothpaste, showergel etc. Food here was lovely but cocktails were the best. Mojitos were just to die for and every time you sat down the waiter or waitress popped a bowl of fresh popcorn or crisps and even jelly sweeties were served with our cocktails one day. Staff don't speak a lot of English but we managed to get by with our small knowledge of Spanish. Would definately return here for another long weekend. Lots of fun with a great atmosphere.

“Nice restaurant with great breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2013

I have only eaten here for breakfast but the place is always packed for lunch and dinner as well. The bar has a great beachy feel. I've always enjoyed my calm café con leche y tostada breakfasts here.

“On the beach”

Nice restaurant on the beach, very busy at the weekend. Food is good but basic, the atmosphere makes up for everything else.
