The theatre is situated below Alcazaba in the city center of Málaga. It is free and nice to see maybe a little small but good if you have some time over.

Well presented Roman ruins with ample informative information in the centre of Málaga. Not a large site but well worth visiting.

next to the city center and the Alcazaba , a well preserved Roman amphitheater. Entrance is free and the perspective is great with the square in front of it and the castle behind.

Sat here whilst waiting for entry into the castle, well preserved however doesn't compare to the larger amphitheatres found throughout Europe

5 stars as it is free and wonderfully "restored" and show place.

A great thing to have on your doorstep, as a massive fan of roman ruins I was amazed how it was just there- with no graffiti! They have a little room where you can read up on the history which is free and you get to go down, and up, to the theatre. It changed my thoughts and a knowledge on what they actually looked like.
A great way to spend 30 mins or so!
