Expected a visit of around 2 - 3 hours but stayed all day as there was so much to see and enjoy. Beautiful well kept and very interesting with something different around every corner. Value for money on entrance fee and would of expected to pay a lot more also very reasonably priced delicious food in pleasant surroundings. This garden is definately well worth visiting.............

I was there . It's beautifuk but not worthy. Good place to take a walk. The entrance price is about 5 € pro person

These large gardens offer a peaceful place to walk, enjoy a variety of plants and trees from around the world and just take a break from hectic Malaga. You can easily catch a public bus to the gardens but will have to walk a good 15 minutes from the stop, along the side of a busy road to get there,

Just beautiful. you wouldn't know you were in a city. Fantastic species of plants, statues and fountains. Plaques to let you know just what you were looking at. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed strolling through here!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the gardens of La Concepción on outskirts of Malaga. Very warm day but the Plane Tree & Palm Avenues provided some very welcome shade & shelter from glare of the sun. I do not agree with comments of some other reviewers that gardens are unkept & neglected? On the day of our visit everything was immaculate & beautiful. There is an amazing mix of trees, shrubs & cacti from around the world. The water lilies were a joy to see. In addition to the plants (many of which give off lovely scents), there are lots of different species of birds filling the gardens with the sound of birdsong. The cafe is great, carrot cake to die for & the goats cheese & walnut salad was fresh, colourful & full of flavour- cafe staff very friendly & helpful as was the assistant in the shop. Entrance fee was 5.20 Euros & was well worth it, we spent 4 hours in the gardens & enjoyed every moment. The only downside is the traffic noise from the nearby motorway; why oh why did permission ever get granted for this road to be placed here? It didn't spoil our visit but unfortunately it was impossible to ever escape the traffic noise completely.
