Staying here when in Malaga is almost a default choice. Yes, the views are good and you can park your car, but the rooms are fairly characterless and food is a major letdown (breakfast excepted).
We stayed 2 nights just before New Year and were disappointed that the Parador is very poorly signposted in town (unlike the Parador in Nerja!). We had booked half board but this became an obvious mistake as we tucked into dinner on the first night. Food is quantity at the expense of quality, and taste and presentation are mediocre. The winelist is short, mostly uninspired and overpriced.
Would we go back? Only if we got a fantastic deal and we ate elsewhere.More
