David on reception, who checked us in was very helpful. He gave us a map and pointed out where the places of interest are. He also told us about the tarjeta transbordo – a card for the local buses which costs €8.50 (plus an initial set up fee of around €2.00) for ten trips. The card can be shared by more than one person.

We found the hotel to be very clean. Our bedroom (a twin) was larger than average with a well equipped bathroom.

The breakfast room is bright and spacious. The food is excellent, with a good selection of juices, fruit, cold buffet, pastries as well as a hot bacon, eggs, and sausage.

The only downside was that there is no bar (although some hotel-booking websites’ photos show one). We arrived on a Sunday evening and found that the local bars were closed, as was most of the Larios shopping centre adjoining the hotel. We were weary from travelling and were looking forward to refreshment without having to go too far, so it was disappointing to find that the hotel no longer has a bar.
NB This was only a problem because we arrived on a Sunday – on the other days of the week there are several local café/bars open, as well as the ones in the Larios centre, which is open to 10pm.

If you are over 65 and from the EU take a photocopy of your passport with you. This will enable you to get a 50% discount in the Museo Picasso & Museo Carmen Thyssen and an entrance fee of only €0.60 into the Gibralfaro Castle and the Alcazaba.

It’s only the fact that there is no bar at the hotel that stops me from giving 5 out of 5.

Stayed for a week in October 2013. Travelled as a couple.

This was a good hotel at a good location for visiting Malaga. City center was only a 8 minute walk. The hotel also had a great breakfast. Right behind the hotel there is a large and modern shopping center

Being only 5 minutes walk from both bus & rail station (Maria Zambrano not Central) we thought the hotel (following Google Map) would be easy to find but actually you have to look for the large red 'Euroski' sign of the shopping centre that the hotel is part of as the hotel do not feature a sign on top of their property like most do.
The reception staff are friendly and welcoming and after a quick check-in we headed up to our room. This was well appointed and clean although a few more clothes hangers would have been good.
After a few attempts of getting (walking) to/from the hotel we got the hang of which roads to walk in and out of Malaga centre. For those who want to be more central you may want to choose a different hotel.
Breakfast, as most reviews will tell you, is excellent with most things available .
Other than a Gym there is not much at the hotel,There seemed to be a bar but we never saw it manned or even utilised by any guests and maybe that's because its not located where people would be happy to sit and spend much time - looked more of a break out area for a conference.

Very disappointed as we stayed here for two nights on our way home from other parts of Malaga and although we are MAS members and the hotels is part of the group, we had to vacate our rooms by 12.30 and our flights were not until 10 pm that night. There was a room for our luggage but no courtesy rooms and we had to use the hotel toilets to change for our trip home.

Nice clean hotel, good size room. No view to speak of.

Reception very helpful and will order taxis if needed. Bedroom clean, bathroom large, with excellent shower. Did not try breakfast due to early flight next day.

Ten minutes walk from rail / bus terminus. 15 minutes walk into the old town, shops and cathedral area with shops, bars and restaurants. plenty of taxis.

We called in here on spec during the Malaga Feria and got a good deal for one night. We'd asked at a couple of other hotels in the area and found their prices to be highly inflated, presumably due to the Feria. Not so much at this hotel so we were happy to pay the rate. The receptionist was very pleasant and gave us a great room on the fourth floor which, despite facing the road, was very quiet. Bathroom equipped with toiletries and a hairdryer, and there was a bath as well as a shower! Hotel is in a good situation right next to the shopping centre, so plenty of cafes for breakfast if you take the room only option. Doesn't take long to walk into the centre of Malaga, or to the train/bus station. We found it comfortable and quiet - just what we were looking for - and we enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed a second night. Will stay here again.

Stayed here for the first time. I had read reports that it could be noisy because of the shopping centre. I didn't hear a thing. Very comfortable beds, clean room and an excellent breakfast. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and were extremely polite. I liked the location to the bus/rail stations and a few minutes walk to the town beach. Will definitely saty here again
