My wife and I stayed here for a few days with my Mother on a city break and we can't say a bad word about the place. Great hotel. Lovely roof terrace and perfectly placed for exploring the historical centre of Malaga. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just a few metres from the old town of Malaga. Friendly staff, clean, nice room. The rooftop was a nice place to relax or have something from the bar. It took us about 25 minutes to walk to the beach, or €8 by taxi. Not the greatest breakfast, but ok. They even had Cava !

Room Tip: The room we were given was on the first floor. Terrible view! We asked for another one and got it.

My wife and I had a super week in this hotel We were a little worried by some of the negative feedback but fortunately our experience was very positive . All the good stuff was true . The breakfast was well worth taking, the only fault being that the self-service fried section could have been warmer (good quality though). The choice of a room upgrade was well worth the extra. Our room was to the front on the second floor but we had no noise problem overnight and the quiet air conditioner kept the temperature down.Yes, the beach is on the opposite side of town (only about a half hour walk) but it is not worth the visit in any case --grey sand and very quiet! Remember Malaga is a tourist town with lots to see ,not a beach resort. If your funds run to €66 per person the Granada trip is well worth the trip!

Room Tip: Our front second floor room was quiet overnight but interesting to sit at in the early evening with...

We had 2 nights at the hotel having stayed here before we knew the facilites the hotel had. We were pleasantly surprised as the hotel had been redecorated, our room was lovely not large but clean and quiet. I cannot understand some of the previous reviews this is a city hotel not a beach hotel we walked down to the beach it took 20 minutes and the city has plenty to offer good bars and restaurants.

This hotel has what you can expect from a three star hotel. Location is good for a city break, but a bit far from the beach. There is a small pool at the roof terrace. Room was clean and breakfast ok. The minibar was free of charge.

Went with a friend for a short break to Malaga and stayed at this hotel as it was recommended to us. It was ideal for our break - close to the old part of town but away from the beach. Room was very clean - good size and the bathroom was excellent - nice touch was the fridge which was kept stocked with water and some juice free of charge. Our room was at the back which was better as away from the street noise. Weather was very good when we were there - 30+ so air conditioning essential but very quiet. Roof top bar and pool very nice. Only negative remark was that the bar staff could have smiled occasionally! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior room - worth the extra

We had an excellent 4 night stay in this very central hotel. The room was clean and spacious with a very nice bathroom, and complimentary water and soft drinks in the mini-bar. It was quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. We spent a pleasant few hours on the roof terrace which had a small swimming pool, and enjoyed the lovely view of the old town and hills.
In lots of ways the best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the centre- literally a 2 minute walk. Our stay didn't include breakfast, but there were delightful cafes everywhere.
All the staff were extremely helpful and it was a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.
