My partner and I stayed at the Las Vegas in August this year. We had booked via Tripadvisor and were paying less than £40 a night and at this price the hotel offers good value. The hotel is well situated to explore the city and offers good size rooms with balconys, though strangely for a double room the balcony only had one chair. Breakfast was standardand as we didn't eat in the hotel I can't comment. The pool is small and overlooks the busy n340

I dont think I have ever met such unhelpful/ bad mannered reception staff in my life. One female and two older male staff were certainly not doing much for public relations for this hotel. Any question was too much for them. They seemed to have a little English but had no interest in using it. As soon as you asked them a question it seemed that they had a one word answer ready and then they turned away and left you standing there. On reading the adds for this hotel it seemed to have everything we needed for our 5 day break, Close to city, near the beach, swimming pool, minibar etc. The location was good just about 20mins walk from city centre and quite near the beach. We had asked for a room on the lower floor and when we arrived we found we were on the 6th (Top) floor. When we asked if there was anything else we were told no so we said we would see the room anyway. The first thing that struck you when you got out of the elevator on the landing was the smell. It was a strong musty/damp smell and it was also there to a certain degree in the bedroom but not as bad. We think it may have been caused by the condensation from the drinks machine on the landings maybe making the carpet damp. Some days the smell was so bad we just took a deep breath as we left the elevator and ran to the bedroom so we could take the next breath. The room was clean but basic and dated the balcony door did not lock (they did fix this without delay) there was no door on the safe in the room and no sign of a minibar (this didnt matter we were not really drinkers anyway) When we went back to reception and mentioned the smell in the room they said they would have an airfreshner spray used. We did not kick up a fuss and just accepted the room as it was.
The hotel bar was never opened till 11 as stated and when we asked if we could have a little ice for our water we were told 'not possible, another night 7 Up or Sprite NO. We did not want to use the drinks machines as there seemed to be a lot of mold or something on the shelves and were not sure how safe this was.The bar staff and the waiters were fine to deal with.
The view was lovely looking over the beach and we enjoyed the pool area as the weather was warm and the pool was quiet most days. I think it was such a pity as this could have been such a nice hotel with a little effort from staff. The city of Malaga was lovely and we did enjoy our time there but the hotel certainly did not measure up. I would visit Malaga again but would stay well away from the Las Vegas hotel

We stayed here for a total of six nigths, and everything worked out perfectly. We wanted to spend as much time on the beach as possible, and for this, this hotel has a perfect location.
You can easily walk to the city centre, and if you want to take a bus, there is a busstop right outside.

This big old style hotel is fine, not fancy at all (old decorations) but it's rooms are spacious enought, the one we stayied in even had a huge balcony overlooking the beach. It's great to have a swimming pool at the hotel because Malaga's central beaches can be a little dirty sometimes, the good ones are on the outskirts. The breakfast area is big and luminous and the food is average.

Located just across the street from the beach but a good 15-20 minute walk from city centre.
The hotel is clean and have a small pool and a very small pool area. There is a bar in the hotel where you can buy drinks to bring down to the pool. There is a very buissy road just otside the hotel on the pool side.
Ask for a room facing the pool, the view is nicer there than facing the street.
Rooms are average but bathroom of better standard then the room it self.
There is TV on the room but all channels except CNN is in Spanish.
The air condition was working fine and silent. Minus was that there was no fridge to keep drinks cool in the room and that the breakfast was a bit poor. No eggs in any form or shape.
The staff at reception and bar is a bit, lets call it, not too happy people. Not unpolite but not the friendliest.
I don't recommend using the phone in your room. I made a 15 minute domestic call and were charged 9 euro in the reception. Pure robbery.

We stayed at Las vegas hotel a few nights some years ago. The rooms was okey and fresh and clean. The breakfast was very good. The pool is small ánd cosy. The most bad thing was the big motorways that disturbed you in the night and when you were bathing in the pool. For just a few nights I think its ok to visit this hotel....
