Muelle Uno is a great place to visit. First of all it is by the port, so you can see many of the ships at anchor there and you can see the water. There are also many stores where you can browse and see interesting consumer items. There is also a wide variety of restaurants, most of them with terraces, so you can soak up some sun as you take your meal or snack. There is also a large restroom.

this is by far and away the best aspect of Malaga in recent years. The whole port area is now so much more accessible and from the bus station on the port it is a mere two min walk away with easy access for all.I thoroughly recommend kaleido malaga port which is a bar restaurant in the middle of the walkway facing the harbour, they have the best cake and coffee for only 3 euros per person even when seated outside on the terrace for which we had thought would be far far more having such a wonderful view service and quality is the best aspect of this bar.The shops are great and its not even necessary to walk all the way down to El corte ingles anymore as the shops are of such good variety and standard even on a cloudy slightly rainy day you cant fail to be impressed with this area and if the big ships are in even better.its well worth a walk if rather long ish out to the area south of Muelle uno called Portuaria to get a different aspect of the city and to see the larger cruise liners berthed alongside.theres also a bus if the walks too long on the way back to the city which runs very regularly.

Barcelona harbour is our favourite but the new port area of Malaga is such a great find. They have a wide range of the shops, good restaurants, boat excursions and some amazing views over the mountains with the malaga cathedral and alcazaba castle above.. must to visit!

I go here often as you can eat drink and be merry while enjoying one of the best views over the old town of Malaga city marina. This was recently opened after quite a few years of enormous financial restructure of the original Malaga port. There are great restaurants to fit every taste and pocket and trendy shops and simply amazing ice cream cafes offering every cocktail in the book! Along one side they have private boats and on the other side of the harbour is the ferry which takes you to North Africa by ferry if this is what you want to do, it's a wonderful area to spend the day if you have left your hotel and have time before your flight go to the beach 1 minute away on Paseo Maritimo the. Stroll across to the Muelle UNO for a meal and a relax.
