“Great price, great staff, clean rooms!”

We flew into Malaga, got the train from the airport for 1.20euro!! Bargain.( To get to the train platform you have to follow directions and yes you do go through a multi story car park! Then get the lift. About 4 stops to Malaga Renf, pleasant and quick journey. NOTE: Malaga Centro is closed and this is opposite the hotel.
Tourist info and free maps at Malaga Renf. 10min walk up one street to hotel. Front desk very polite and helpful, the room (although small) was very clean and well presented and very comfortable. Great value for money. The Beach was lovely and quite quiet. We went there twice even though it was a good 25min walk it was worth it.
We had a great time, wish we could have stayed longer than 2nts/3days.!

Just back from a 3 night stay with my 16 yr old daughter,no complaints!! Take the No 19 bus from the airport - takes almost 30 mins and costs 1euro 10, get off the bus just after the big El Corte Ingles store on the left ,the hotel is sign posted and only a 5 min walk. We were on the 7th floor and had a lovely little balcony . The room was immaculate, with wooden flooring and a well equipted bathroom- the jacuzzi bath was a bonus!! The reception guys were very helpful and spoke perfect English. The breakfast was 8 euros but we preferred the nearby cafes. We were very pleased with this hotel - very central for bus station etc and Malaga is a lovely city. The red city tour bus was a good way to see everything - 16 euros for a 24hr ticket.

Stayed 3 nights 26/3 - 29/3 and was very impressed with the hotel. Rooms were very clean, maid came in every day. reception staff were helpful and friendly. Paid 150 Euros for the 3 nights which works out to £25 each, for my girlfriend and I. Would hate to think what I'd get for that in England !! It's about a 10 minute walk into town, it;s about 30 mins on the No 19 bus from the airport which is about 1.25 Euro each. Don't think you would want to sleep with the window open, as there is a main road about 500 metres away but the double glazing nullifies almost all the noise and in addition there is air conditioning. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed the weekend with my husband. lovely room with a balcony. The hotel was really central - within walking distance of so many attractions.

The hotel was very clean - room wasnt huge but big enough , the breakfast was usual european "buffet" style which was fine as long as you know what to expect.
We thought it was really good value for money and would go back.
We were able to get the bus back to the airport for a euro each - and you can get a bus or train from the airport to the hotel if you know where to look!

We stayed at the Astoria the night after we flew into Malaga and the night before we flew home. I guess it was proximately located to the older train station, but it's a bit farther from the new station. However, it was still within walking distance, about 10 minutes. (If you are not in good walking shape or have lots of luggage or little children, I suggest you take a cab from the station.) The hotel itself is otherwise centrally located to the main shopping area, including many restaurants and city sights. Outside of the hotel, to the left, is a contemporary art museum, which has a nice cafe -- better for breakfast than the hotel menu, in my opinion. The hotel has a nice, modern decor. The rooms are clean and have your basic needs, but are by no means "roomy" (this is Europe, remember!). The bathroom is fine -- has a working hairdryer and shower (be mindful of the half-glass shower door, otherwise, you will soak the bathroom!). The staff is friendly enough. All in all, a decent stay -- not luxurious, but we got it for a good rate, so didn't expect much more. The negatives were that the beds were extremely hard and the walls extremely thin. Tip: take foam earplugs with you! I would recommend for a short-term stay and only if a good booking rate was being offered.

Just stayed at the Eurostars Astoria for one night to see the Christmas Lights in Malaga which were fantastic.

The hotel is in a nice quite good position within walking distance to most of the sights to see, Checkin was very helpfull and friendly and gave us a room on the second floor 203 which had an excellent FREE WiFi internet connection and was modern and clean with a jacuzzi bath.

We had a great night out.

We stayed in this hotel on 7th floor for 4 nights. We chose it because of its proximity to the Malaga Centro railway station (taking the train from the airport). Unfortunately the line between the Centro and other Malaga station was closed for improvements (we found no information on the internet that Centro was closed but if notification was in Spanish then we would have missed it). Nevertheless, it was only 10 minutes walk from the other station so this was no problem with a suitcase on wheels (though the pavement comprised small slabs with deepish joints so the running of the wheels was not smooth). View over the river was great and you could just see the sea. However, opening the window might be a mistake due to the proximity of the river - sometimes there was a smell of 'sewage'. Buffet breakfasts were great. The room was spacious and very comfortable - lovely firm beds. The spa bath was great fun. The hotel is ideally located - near to public transport links and the old part of the city. My wife and I (both early 50s) found lots to do - 2 castles to explore, wonderful walks along the beach front, good train links to other towns along the coast. Hotel staff were friendly and spoke good English. Thoroughly recommended.
