This is a fairly new museum and is fairly small being on 2 floors but has a light airy feel to it. An easy wander with some other artists work displayed such a Rodin, it is a pleasant experience and worthwhile.

Considering that Picasso never returned to Malaga after he left as a yooung man, it is perhaps a little strange to base a museum here - but it brings in the people and the money. This is a bust museum very popular with tour parties. You may need to que for little while so be prepared for that. There are some interesting works by Picasso, none of his most famous perhaps. However I found the artefacts, pictures and documents that tell of Picasso the man, very interesting. It would be a shame not to visit if you are in town.

It is unlikely that the 200 pieces of art from picasso, as advertised in the museum's marketing material, is there.

One hour maximum is sufficient to visit the museum.

It is fairly priced to get in and there is a reasonable number of interesting pieces of art. You can do the visit in 1-2 hours. Children are welcome. Right in the centre of Malaga near The harbor, shops and restaurants. Interesting exhibition and the museum is perfectly situated.

His art really makes you think, makes you also wonder what was running through his mind when he painted. An enjoyable hour
