We really enjoyed this small gallery and thought the exhibits were very well presented, and the programme notes informative. Loved the video of Picasso at work, and the longer film of experts discussing his influences and impact.

Do not waste your time going there. Not that the building isn't nice or the collection. But the staff is very very rude and arrogant and not very polite or helpful in anyway. So go there if your day is already crappy otherwise stay away.

Malaga's Picasso Museum rivals its counterpart in Paris and is much better and more complete than the one in Barcelona.

Firstly we actually found the entrance quite difficult to find but that didn't put us off as this was a fascinating collection of paintings from Picasso's early to later life. the relatively small museum contains a large number of paintings which really showed the breadth of styles that Picasso undertook beyond the cubism that we know him for. We didn't ask, so there may have been, but it could really benefit from an audio guide to help use interpret each painting and put it into context.

We had visited this museum several years ago with our teenage daughter but did not see it all as she was at the "bored" age. Our return visit was worth the wait. There are several rooms charting the changes in Picasso's style over the years and an interesting video in English.
