“A brilliant night to a memorable evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

We have just had one of the best nights ever with the fabulous Michael. He took us to 4 wonderful tapas bars. We started at a rustic bar with carbs to set us up but with great potato with garlic mayo with meatballs for my meat loving hubby. We had a dipping sauce too which was exceptional. Tinto de varano went so well with with this. We than went on to the square where Picasso was born and had lamb felafel meat balls goats cheese and pimientos. Great with an excellent red. Michael knows the bars so well and this adds to the fun., We then went on to another.very trendy bar where we had deep fried squids ink which was exquisite and oxtail hamburgers which was really rich but delicious. Then we started going off piste a bit and had a vermouth at Wendy's Bar which was delicious and then ended at another bar with a plate of delicious cheese. It was a great night made even better by our brilliant guide Michael. He was just a joy. He was so kind and. Really tried hard to make our night memorable. Thanks so much! I really hope to see you again.

“Fantastic Tour 7th May 2014”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Malaga. Not only do you get to sample a variety of fantastic Tapas and wine but our guide Michael was a fountain of knowledge as you walk around the historic centre.
Our group thought the tour was great value for money, we were completely stuffed by the end of the afternoon but had an absolutely fantastic time. Can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon in Malaga! Thank you Michael - we will be back!

“Lovely time...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

Michael met us in the centre of Malaga and took us for a stroll to the wonderful covered market, where we had a look at all the fresh produce, especially in the fish section. We were then whisked off to eat some of the most gorgeous tapas I have ever had. Who would have thought that cherries and anchovies would blend together so well! As we walked from bar to bar Michael told us a lot about the history and people of the area. He is a charming and interesting guide and certainly knows the good spots to sample new tastes! I would recommend taking this tour, it is so much more than just eating tapas.

“Magical Malaga revealed by Michael!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

We booked a Tapas and Flamenco tour on the first evening of our long weekend. It was a brilliant beginning to a wonderful few days in sunny Malaga. Michael is a special person and an exceptional guide-entertaining, knowledgeable and fun. The Tapas Tour was was very personal and tailor-made to our foodie preferences. There is an overwhelming choice of bars so it was relaxing to hand over and let him guide us around the streets while taking care of the ordering and giving us snippets of information about the city. The Flamenco was the real deal. My friend was moved to tears by the occasion...in a good way!
We had such a good time that are returning for another weekend and will book another Tapas Tour. The highest praise!
I can't recommend Malaga enough for being the perfect place for a weekend break. We stayed in the city centre near the Cathedral and soaked up the sun, culture, shopping and history. We kept our visit hassle free by taking a taxi from the airport and spent our time exploring and people watching from restaurant tables....and spotting Michael on his tours! The locals are very friendly and welcoming. The city is very safe and clean and it has clearly been spruced up in recent years. Bill Gates clearly approves as his super yacht was moored in the harbour! Go there........

“great personal tour for those who love to try new food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

My husband and I participated in the guided gourmet tapas tour in Malaga while there on holiday over Easter. Laura, a young Canadian woman who has lived in Malaga for over a decade, picked us up and we spent a lovely evening with her, sampling different types of tapas - traditional, with a twist, and fusion. This is the perfect small tour for foodies who want to explore the range of local cuisine at places that tourists wouldn't always find easily. I found Andalucian restaurants to be rather hit or miss, so it was good to try new things with quality and tastiness assured. Wine was included, and there are different tours available - evening, daytime with markets, and with a flamenco performance included in the evening. We picked the last option and thoroughly enjoyed the authentic performance at the Kelipe cultural center.
