Food was excellent, best Jamon I've ever had, and also portion very quite big. Big plus for the specialty coffees over there. Service was slowish, but we weren't in a hurry.

We got the day menu and it was excellent. Portions are big and tasty. The quality of the food is excellent and the deserts are great. From Icream to fruit tartalet. Really recommended!

The range of quality patisserie/food here is excellent - best we saw in Malaga.

We sat outside 'on the terrace' one morning and one afternoon, sampling filled croissants, smoothies, huge chocolate brownies (one between two would have been enough!)

Lepanto is a great place to site, relax & watch people going by.

Prices are expensive, but expect to pay for quality.

However, the service felt a bit unfriendly - a 'take it or leave it' attitude from younger staff, and when asked about wireless a very definitive, bored, "NO!".
People behind the counters in the shop were also a bit standoffish, even with no-one else at the counter.

So, recommended for food - try Lepanto - hopefully you'll experience service at as good a level of Lepanto's location and fare.

Loved this central cafe. Came everyday for their churros and hot chocolate which were to die for if a little addictive. They have a great selection of desserts, pastries, ice cream and chocolates. Their other desserts were fantastic too and huge portions , I have a feeling they may have been to share at €8.00 but we managed one each! ('',) Nice seating outdoors to watch the world go by. Sweet memories!

If we are in Malaga for 7 days we'll probably have a coffee and cake or ice cream here 7 times, because we think it's that good. After lunch or dinner, we prefer to have our coffee sitting outside in the most fashionable street in town, people watching. The cakes, pastries and chocolates are excellent, very continental. So maybe all the staff aren't perfect, but everything else pretty much is.
