Very friendly and helpful staff. It was 15 minutes walking away from the center of the town, and the yacht harbor promenade. So, location is O.K., close enough to the old town but in a bad neighbourhood. Doesn't matter, we enjoyed our dinner on the roof terrace, face to the church, and a seagull viewed us from the chimney.

Just come back today - Got a taxi from Malaga airport which cost 20 euros so between 4 of us was good, so not necessary to get a transfer unless its cheaper?

Apartments really nice - I agree hot water tank too small - I made sure I was first in shower after first time!

Area is good, supermarket nearby with everything you want - Freshly baked bread was nice for sandwiches

Other direction over the bridges takes you straight into old town, lots of bars and restaurants, The Plaze Merceds was nice for pubs and food. I'm a veggie and there was a nice one did Veggie shepherd pie which was gorgeous! (Watch out for bar advertising 1 euro beer on that plaza as they charged us £14 for 4 beers!)
If you walk a bit further the marina is nice, very pretty and again plenty of food places there,

Castle is good and free to visit after 2pm on a sunday but only 3,55 euros anyway.

Not a pool at apartments but the terrace on the roof was a sun trap and nice

Whether was great for nov, 20-27 degrees, locals all walked around in jeans and jackets but we didn't need them, bit colder on a night but you wouldn't be too cold if you didn't take one.

The church is right next to the apartment and the bells go off a lot but luckily not late on a night.

All in all great trip, if you are going and need to know anything else feel free to ask!

comfortable. Make sure they know when you are getting there. I got off a cruise ship and arrived in the morning, no one around. There is a phone number, cab driver called for us. Told us to come back at 1pm so we arrange for the cab driver to give us a city tour for a few hours. Worked out okay. Pricey though for a cab from the cruise terminal, wanted to charge us 20 euros-no meter on. With the tour he didn't charge for the apartment delivery. So it worked out.
Room had everything we needed, only complaint was that the hot water tank was too small. If one of us showered the other had to wait till it recharged. NOT GOOD
Plus side, it had a washer/dryer combo in the room. Got to do all our laundry after a week on the ship. That was great. Other reviews called the area sketchy. Area was fine, church next door to the apartments. mothers and kids always on the street. It is not suburban US. It is another country and the people were great. No one bothered us.
Only other comment was #4 's windows drapes were inadequate. They didn't go all the way down. Glass was clouded so you could not see through it but, you could see bodies from the outside. They need new window shades.
For the price, I'd stay again.

Room Tip: 2 floors I liked downstairs despite the window shade

Good points: very reasonable price, spotlessly clean, quite well-equipped for a short stay, pleasant receptionist who spoke adequate English (but let them know when you're coming as it's not continuously staffed). Comfortable bed. I think there was aircon but in October the temperature was perfect without it.

Our booking was for three and it was nice that the sofa bed had already been made up for my daughter.

Five minutes walk from the old city centre across the nearby bridge, and there are some nice bars and cafeterias at- or close to the end of the road. The area might look slightly run down, but it's typical scruffy urban Spain and the locals are pleasant.

Wifi works well and is fast.

Bad points: quite noisy at night from other rooms, especially their plumbing (to the point of being able to keep track of the individual bowel movements of the occupants of the room upstairs!) Quite a long walk (15 minutes) from the train and bus stations if carrying bags. Church bells from very nearby every morning.

Overall a good place to stay, would happily return.

New apartments and very clean. The team that brings you helps you in all your doubts, as they arrive in Malaga we didn't know the city and helped us at all times. You can park in the street , free, something that in Malaga is very difficult in the neighborhood, there is everything you need, shops, bar, restaurant and a5 minutes walk of the English court. I recommend it and whoever has the opportunity to stay in the penthouses.

We arrived at 1030 PM and had a bit of difficulty finding the place due to the one ways. Once we found it, it was on a sketchy street and we were all a tad scared. We arrived to a barred door, with no one answering the doorbell. Had to turn on our canadian cell phone and call a spanish long distance number to tell the owners we had arrived. They showed up within 5 minutes and were welcoming, given the circumstances. Our apartment was very modern, spacious and clean. Great value for price. The rooftop terrace was beautiful. Other than the location on a sketchy local side street, we can't complain!

Nice place but located in a super sketchy part of town. We found parking on the street the apartments are located on but as soon as we got out of the car an older gentleman approached us and asked us if we lived here and told us not to leave our car on this street and that it is a very bad neighborhood. We asked the housekeeper about this and she said the same thing and that we should park a few streets over. As for the apartments, they probably aren't bad for a stag-do but I would never bring my family there and will not be returning there myself.
